TIMELESS TOWER RUN
Its_A_Random
Beyblade (M) @ Expert Belt
Grandstone (-) @ Expert Belt
Pharant (M) @ Expert Belt
Backpack (-) @ Pockets
TIMELESS TOWER Timeless Tower is an unfathomably large structure seated on an impregnable cliff-side. The tower's main spire looms over its entrance hundreds of feet into the air. Bridges extend from the main tower to three separate spires, each on an island pillar of immense density. The ocean roars violently below, beckoning you to stay away. The bridge to the east leads to a tower frozen over in a massive pillar of ice. The sunlight glistens against its reflective surface, yet no melt can be shown. You look cold just staring at it. The bridge to the west leads to a craggy pillar that seems to be etched from the very earth itself, impossibly dense and immovable. A third tower can be seen behind the structure on your map, but it is eclipsed by the sheer enormity of the main spire. It is made of the sturdiest looking metal you have ever seen, an unnaturally purely refined solidity that shares the brilliant sheen of the icy tower and the sheer density of the crag. As you go up to the entrance, the drawbridge on the main gate opens and falls with a loud crash onto the only access to the mainland. On either side of the bridge are statues of Golurk holding up massive spears. As you enter the main atrium, a massive statue of Golem rolled up into a ball takes the centre of the arena. You look around the room and see exits your east and west going to the towers, stairs built into the floor going down presumably to the tower behind the main spire, and a massive door with 3 slots in the gate. Depictions of the gate are on the left and right, and show 3 stones being placed in the gate. Both mosaics are completely sand-coloured except for the stones. One is an azure blue, one is a dull brown, and the other a shimmering silver. You attempt to push the gate, but it is so massively heavy you feel tired just pushing on it. It will not budge. What could this all mean? And where do you go from here? Your Options are as follows... a) Enter Ice Spire. b) Enter Rock Crag. c) Enter Iron Dungeon. d) Enter Heaven's Ascent. e) Leave Timeless Tower. |

Opting to go for the chilled tower, the sunlight only gets brighter and brighter as you cross the bridge. Shielding your eyes from the reflective ice, you steadily shuffle forward, not noticing a wild, angry pair of a Snorunt and a Vanillite pushing against your feet, trying to goad you away from their spire.
Fortunately, Beyblade was more aware of your surroundings than you, and whirls into position, forcing the two ice-types away. As Grandstone and Pharant slowly lumber into position, it appears that these two won't let you win without a fight... Battle Begin! Beyblade did not stop spinning after he forced the two ice-types back; in fact, he rammed right into the weak Vanillite, Faking Out the ice cream cone. As Vanillite struggles to get its bearings, Pharant grabs some ice-encrusted boulders from nearby and tosses them towards the lackeys, crushing them both under a Rock Slide. Snorunt, though hurt, still manages to blow an Icy Wind over your team, chilling their joints. Grandstone, already colossally slow, ignores this irrelevant temperature change and slams a fist into the ground, intensifying the Gravity with a strange, ancient force.
Although your entire team moves slowly with their frostbitten limbs, Pharant is still able to rush out in front of your team, spreading out its bandaged arms in a forceful Wide Guard. Noticing this trickery, the two ice-types hold back the Blizzards they had prepared, and instead batter the Revenankh with a Hidden Power and a Shadow Ball, punishing the mummy for protecting his team. However, both Grandstone and Beyblade are able to safely get off their powerful Rock Slides, chipping away at Vanillite and Snorunt's frail bodies. Snorunt: Ice Beam + Icy Wind -> Cooldown (Ice Beam [Pharant])
Vanillite: Ice Shard + Icicle Spear (Pharant) -> Cooldown (Ice Beam [Pharant]) Snorunt and Vanillite begin to notice the desperation of the situation as they glance down at their chipped bodies. Glaring back up at you and your powerful team, they brace themselves for another downhill round of combat. Vanillite suddenly focuses all of its icy energy into a focus point at the top of its swirl, firing off a ice-typed Piercing Shard at Pharant. The repeated blasts of icicles rip and tear at the mummy's cloth, but he is quick to retaliate, striking the little cone with a Mach Punch. Beyblade also leaps into the fray, adding another Mach Punch, knocking the poor Vanillite out as powder snow is sent flying from its swirl. Snorunt looks gravely at its ally, hardening its resolve even as Grandstone slams a stony fist into its body, Smacking the poor ice-type Down. Snorunt then releases its rage, sending a flurry of an Ice Ray across your team, striking them all with freezing energies. They then mercilessly pounce on the Snorunt, leaving it chipped and unconscious alongside Vanillite. ----- Leaving the two fainted ice-types to themselves, your team walks onwards, further into the depths. As you walk in you notice that while you're freezing the Pokemon here seem to be enjoying the cold. This whole expansive corridor is little more than a giant skating rink. You surmise the small holes in the sides of the room are the nests for all the Pokemon. As you cross towards the end of the arena, you notice the Pokemon playing a game. Beyblade lazily twirls around, looking as if he wishes to join in on the fun, while Grandstone looks disdainfully at his brother's minions. Swinub and Delibird appear to have set up a soccer match using a ball of ice. Unfortunately, both of them are blocking your way and don't appear friendly. Do you A) Take on the Swinub? B) Take on the Delibird? |

After a decidedly frustrating goal, the Swinub take the icy football (soccer ball) and wander into some unknown nest. The Delibird celebrate for a while, and then they push forward their best players; the rest of the team stands by and cheers, eager to see two victories in one day.
Quickly spraying a Super Potion to mend Pharant's tattered bandages, Beyblade and Grandstone are already in position to fight the two Delibird athletes. The Delibird get to work disabling your attacks and striking back, before eventually collapsing to a series of rocks. Also Fake Out is broken. Go bring it up in feedback. At least it's not 3 fake out abusers.

Ice Spire ~ Glacial Cavern You enter a gigantic froze cavern and cannot believe what awaits before you. The cavern stretches on seemingly forever, but it appears it only has one denizen: a Mamoswine. It isn't happy you entered its terrirory, and quickly seals yo under an avalanche. Only one of your Pokemon will be able to give chance.

Mamoswine A
Please send in ONE (1) Active Pokemon, AND either issue THREE (3) Actions, or initiate a Capture Round, in which case, preferrably throw TWO (2) Poke Balls at a time.

Ice Spire ~ Frozen Hall The Frozen Hall is a hollowed out room shaped like a sphere. Gigantic icicles stretch from the floor to the cieling, up about 25 feet. A frozen draft blows through the room, and as you continue through the snow gets stronger. You get the distinct feeling of being watched. Buried under the snow is a glimmering object that could be valuable. This part of the ice also seems to have some obsidian shards sticking out nearby, an odd feature for such a place, but who knows who has traversed the area? Do you place your hand in the snow? Player Options: a) Take the object! b) Leave the object!

Ice Spire ~ Frozen Hall You plunge your hand into the snow, hoping for the best. The object is pulled out with relative ease, and peering inside, there seems to be a large haul of Aspear Berries, perfectly preserved for you. However, you glance where the tinderbox was, and see another obsidin spike. However, this one moves oh so slightly, and it finally clicks what it actually is, just before the Glalie bursts out of the snow, enraged. In addition, a Glaceon seems to have snuck in without anyone having an idea. This could be painful...
