Where the dragons take me.

We've all been there at one point. We see that move or ability that we just think could've been better if it did this or maybe if it didn't do this. Name Some moves/abilities you'd like to see changed in Gen 6. One rule for this though. Don't op a move or ability. Ok let's begin.
Non-permaweather abilities: Oh come on we all want this. I'd love it if they changed the weather ability mechanics so that the weather will last 5 turns. The turns wont reset if you switch out and switch back in. Weather rocks will increase the number of turns to 8. It balances out weather so well as it only would provide a temporary increase putting less pressure on any player using non-weather. Increase Thunder/Hurricane/Blizzard to 80% acc: You really cant tell me these moves wouldn't be used so much more if only their accuracy was increased. I know that under weather these moves have perfect accuracy but that's not the point. Outside of weather these moves have no merit. Increase their accuracy. |

Really? I think this kind of topic already fits in the X/Y thread, but whatever.
We would kindly disagree with Thunder and Hurricane needs for a buff. Those moves are already powerful enough with their perfect accuracy in rain and their reduced accuracy outside or rain haven't prevented people from spamming them in SUN. In hindsight, 50% chance for Specs-Tornados to kill Ninetales instantly is far too good for a "handicap". |

Thunder/Hurricane/Blizzard/Focus Blast are moves NOT intended to being normally used on solid sets, because they are shaky moves that can offen make you lost games (about the 30% or more of the time!), at least outside of weather mind, I say, you can use them, they are really powerful and have great coverage, but it's up to you how much you want to risk things for the reward, even outside of the weather those moves are used a lot as some Pokémon really needs to extra power.
So, nope, we don't need to increase the accuracy of already over-great moves, we just need to low the accuracy of other moves like Close Combat and stuff to reduce a bit the power creep.

The release of XY is eight months away. Almost no concrete information has been revealed yet. If you want to post about "what I want next generation but have no reason to believe will happen", use the general thread.
