The results don't seem to be erratic at all, as you can see, all your results are Timid. We don't know what you mean with "repitition". We will give you a step-by-step guide, no matter if you wanted that or not.

1. Prepare your Chatots! Get yourself a good test sound to verify your seed.
2. Save in front of the delivery man in a Pokemon centre without moving NPCs. We recommend Nimbasa City, because it is next to the IV checker in the subway.

3. RNG-Reporter: Choose one of the results! Generally, the lower the frame, the better. Right-click on it and "copy the seed to clipboard". You know the drill from stationary abuse.
4. Go to the main window, use the 5th Gen Wondercard method and paste the seed into the Seed panel. Check "Black White 2?" and Memory Link if performed. Calculate the Initial PID Frame.
5. Now there is something strange: Scroll down until you see your desired nature and IVs. The frame does not match with the one in the Time Finder. At that point, the Time Finder is off a bit. Follow the results in the main window.
6. Enter the game at the destined time. Advance your frame until you hit your desired spread and receive Keldeo.

Are there any questions left?

can you past the starting movie when you want to RNG or do you have to wait for it all the time?

Just wait until the star with the Gamefreak lolo appears, then enter the game .

I meant my results were erratic in receiving the Keldeo, was just showing the time finder to see if anything was wrong there. In the program as as far as I saw everything seemed normal. But in receiving my Keldeo my results don't add up. By repetition, I assumed if there was just one thing wrong, that if I tried over and over again, the same wrong result would occur. Anyways, I'll give a try at better recognizing the Chatot sounds, and keep going at it. I got 2 with Chatter recordings, but I can't tell the difference between most pitches.

Edit: Btw,this is my first time using button presses because of how few desired seeds there was without, and I see what you mean when TimeFinder goes off a bit, thanks for the tip.

Update: Been trying more,

The actual hitting of the frame isn't the problem. The WPNC is what I thought was the problem at first as well, but when I decided to take out the synch and see which frame I was actually hitting, it turns out I WAS catching the right one, because I caught a Bashful Terrakion (with the IVs I want so I know that hitting the seed isn't the problem). And since there aren't any other Bashful natures near that one, I've come to assume RNG Reporter is giving me the wrong shiny frame, unless somebody can think of something that would offset the shiny frame besides my TID and SID, which I have confirmed several times.

PkmnTrainerSNOW: Is this the first RNG you'll be doing in your Black/White 2 game? If it is then it might be a calibration issue, but if it isn't and you know for sure it's calibrated then I have no idea. I just RNGd my Keldeo yesterday and you have the same setup I did, at least for the time finder. Make sure you have Black/White 2 checked and check Memory Link if you've used it.

(Also you literally have the exact same setup I did. My Timer0 is 10F4 :P)

1, 6 and 7 are on the correct seed, the quirky ones are on frame 61, the rash one is on frame 63. You know, your desired seed is 66.
We wouldn't rely on the starting frame too much, just concentrate on your hearing. The quirky ones are pretty good, you should add five more advancements to get the desired result. You are almost there, keep it up!

Wait for us, Sharpam, we will look into this.

Edit: We cannot tell what exactly went wrong. You should play a bit with the frame advancements as Exploits said.

Have you tried different amounts of PID advancements to confirm you're actually hitting the right frame? For example, instead of going for the shiny frame on 107, have you tried going for 106 to see if you get a Naive? 108 to see if you get Relaxed, etc.

To my knowledge, you do the same to RNG. The only difference is that you will be constantly trolled by your Timer0. Other than that, the way to RNG is still the same.

It's the same, just a couple more Timer0's, no more C-Gear seeds, and no breeding at all.

Update: I confirmed that the frames adjacent to the shiny were what RNG Reporter said they were, but I decided to switch to a different seed and I got the shiny, so I'm not sure what was wrong with that seed.

Just a quick one.

I'm trying to abuse for ID/SID on a japanese black 2 cart. I am yet to hit the result that I desire. When I input the ID obtained into Pandora's Box to see what I actually hit, the results are... off. Like it will often give me a result that is correct in time, date, and frame advances, but incorrect in button inputs, which I did not do incorrectly. Another time my ID appeared with correct time, frame advances and button inputs, but only occured 10 months after it was supposed to. Is there a known issue with the 'Find Seed Hit' function?

Also, if I find my ID seed, it asks me to perform 8 frame advances (Initial: 28, Target: 36), but if I search using the 'Find Seed Hit' function, it tells me not to advance at all (Initial: 36, Target: 36).

I should also mention that I've done this before, successfully, with my copy of White 2. So I suppose I have a bit of experience. I don't remember it being this difficult or random, though.

Short: Yes.

By the way, we have looked a bit into Sharpam's issue. We have manually calculated the shininess, as the result the Pokemon is supposed to be shiny, in theory:

TID: A25B 1010001001011011
SID: 6937 0110100100110111
PID: 1452 0001010001010010
PID: DF3A 1101111100111010

0000000000000100 <= 0000000000001000 = shiny

There was nothing wrong with that seed, but the given PID was incorrect, assuming the TID/SID are correct.

Edit: We are tempted to bumb but that would be rude. We are trying to calibrate a B2 game with the same DS lite we have calibrate a W2 edition with. Can we use the same Timer0 results? VCount is constant, too.

I was about to start a new game on my Black cartridge, and I was wondering... Can the starters be RNGed like other "gift" Pokemon? If yes, how can the PIDRNG be advanced if there's no Chatot?

I'm confused about rng breeding. The frame they mentioned is the chatter pitch frame and not the walking 128 steps one, right? Are there the random NPC walking thingy in the route?

The PIDRNG can be advanced by saving (one save=one advancement)
Yes starters can be RNGed like all other gift pokemon, I assume. I have not done it before though.

RNG Reporter is great, and is far more rewarding than PokéGenning, but could something allowing to "save" a research to the disk, and resume it later, could be implemented?

Like, saving the last seed or second/keypress combination tested, and being able to start another research from them later? It could be very useful for those who can't have their computer run 24/24, or when you're halfway through your research and need to reboot for whatever reason.

Anyway, thanks for all the work you put into RNG Reporter. Without you, the only way to get perfect Pokémon without spending days breeding would be to PokéGen them.

You can Right-click and "Output Results to TXT". The format is horrible, though and you need to clean up manually a bit, but that is a start.

Edit: Sorry, we couldn't find that kind of function. Is is a bit annoying when you are in the middle of some calibations when the RNG Reporter decides to go down.

I knew that one, Onicon, but I meant, being able to restart the search where it left off, like, stopping while it's searching, let's say, 4 april 2004, 4 hours, 4 minutes, 4 seconds, "Up" keypress, and being able to resume the search at that point after the computer cooled down or updated.

Thanks anyway, some people may not be aware of this tip.

I'm trying to RNG a flawless Terrakion and I can't seem to hit both my IV and PID frames. I find this weird as just yesterday I successfully RNGed the event Keldeo. I've been trying ever since yesterday to no avail, and it seems worse than the Timer0 trolling my life. I know I'm starting the game at the right time and I do all my Chatot pitches, but nothing works. Here are my settings:
VCount: AD
Timer0: 167E
GxStat: 6
VFrame: 8
Seed: DA15A0D263EAE21C

And the Terrakion frames:
IV frame: 1
PID frame: 158
Date/Time: 11/27/12 07:00:49 (Start game 8 seconds earlier)
Keypresses: Right-Down-Y
Help please. Thanks.

You can't control your Timer0...
If you can, RNG on a original DS, or a DS Lite, where it's only a second earlier.

Also, on said DS/DS Lite, hold Down as it's powered up, so you won't risk launching Pictochat.

On which game are you RNGing? If it's Black2/White2, think about the WNPCs.

White 2. But there are no WNPCs, just this one backpacker dude, but he's not moving. I suppose I can do that as I have a NDS Lite.
