True, and like I said, I'm not ruling anything out. It's just that each of the previous eeveelutions have had obvious typings due to their design being the epitome of the type. This eeveelution's type is a mystery.

I don't think the windswept manner its ribbons and ears are placed in is there just to mix us up. It looks so whimsical and fleety, that I really want it to be a Flying-type. Then again, nin- could be taken as a distortion of nix- or nil-, which could indicate being colorless, or the Normal-type

But then I read on and my dreams were...somewhat crushed as I found out it was an Eeveelution.
Now the question is this: what fucking type is it!?
Well from the looks of things, it really stands out to me as a Normal type.
Here are me reasons
1. the bows. Do you guys remember this item? If they decide to bring it back, I'm betting all my money that is how it evolves Eevee. Level up while holding it, similar to razor fang, ect.
2. the color scheme. It doesn't immediately scream Normal, but when you compare it to other normal types, you can see it. A LOT of Normal types have the same/a similar cream color somewhere on their body. I mean just look at this and count the number of mons with a cream color somewhere.
3. change. It time for a change, this is the very FIRST eeveeltuion to not be a special type. This game is the first 3D handheld Pokemon main series game. There are so many things that will change, and this is one of them, breaking traditions (Black 2, White 2's existence).

That is all...STILL FUCKING WANTED DRAGEON!

It looks a bit too gentle imo. Even keldeo looks like it's raring to fight.

1) Each Eeveelution brought a new method of evolution. If anything, I'd say this is not an item, more likely related to the "bond" thing.

If it's fighting type, and it evolves in some way related to Sacred/Secret Sword and/or the Muskedeers, I'll swear I'll never have one of these. That being said, I hate it because I knew this would happen, of course is a supreme badass marketing strategy to answer one question while making 100 more rise....

When comparing it to the other eeveelutions, the real question here is "what is it the epitome of?" Is it the essence of being able to fly or fight? Is it the essence of being normal? Honestly, even for a new type it doesn't scream much of anything but that love type that somebody mentioned. As much as I'd like to see a light type, I'd think the eeveelution of it would have more features related to light.

no, it's ninfia. notice that the 'i' character is smaller than the other characters. this is because 'fi' is not a regular character, so 'fu' must be modified. whenever you see a japanese character that is smaller than the other characters, it's a modifier to the character preceding it.
