Level 1 Beedrill?

Right now, if you check in the GTS for a beedrill from level 1 to 10, it will show a shiny level 1 beedrill from the netherlands, offered by T-ice and originally owned by Thijs. How is it possible to get it? I asked somewhere else and I was initially told pomeg glitch but then we remembered that is for emerald and thus the egg would hatch at level 5, also the pokemon passes Nintendo's legality analysis as it is being offered in the GTS. I've searched for event info but I've found nothing about it, also if it was an event there could be more than one... any idea?

Hacked.

Even with the pomeg glitch, Beedrill's minimum level is 5. Lv1 Beedrill's impossible.

Nintendo's legality analysis's pretty crap iirc, i think it got through since you could catch Lv7 Beedrills in HGSS

Doesn't matter, I think it passed legality checks because you could get Beedrills that are lower than Lv9 legally.

Assuming the legality check is the same as that used at official events, it's not bery surprising that this Beedrill passed. I know for sure that move legality, location met, stat legality, and MAYBE Pokeball and held item are checked but I hardly see a reason to check level.

Levels are checked, else, you could deposit level 9 or under zekroms...

Well don't believe it hacked and never find an answer, since it IS hacked.

It's a glitch produced by an unknown event.

It was pretty common in 4th gen to see Pokemon (mostly legendaries) in a level that it would never be able to be, like Lv1 Lugias, etc.
If you actually have the pokemon to trade, the GTS will mark an error (something like "This Pkmn has already been traded") and it would still be there. I think it's a glitch of some sort, not a Pkmn that someone uploaded.

I tried to do this some time ago with a Lv1 Empoleon and a Lv1 Reshiram (both legally trained but de-leveled using external software) and the GTS accepted neither.

I believe Golden Emp. Considering the amount of glitches in 4th gen, say for example the mimic-transform-rage which creates "illegal" pokémons that are legitimate (legit but not legal), I was sure there would be a way for it not to be hacked.

Funny how you can get a legit level 1 Gyarados in b2w2(The nature place with the shiny haxorus). So if you see one of those, it could be legit.

i'm pretty sure you're automatically banned from the GTS if it's detected that your save file was externally modified
