How do you know what overall rank you are? In people's RMTs i see things like "Peaked at 34th" or "Got to 3rd place overall".

I am trying to download Shoddy. I didn't have java, however, so I tried to download that. I saved the installer to a folder I made, but after I get out of the internet it is not in the folder. What am I doing wrong?

Im using Firefox. I press download now on Java website, and the Download Manager window pops up. I click out of the Firefox window, but keep the Download Manager up. When I double-click on the downloaded Java installer, nothing happens. It is not in the file where I saved it either.

When I send a challenge to my friend, it never works. Is the a bug or am I not doing something right. If he sends me the challenge, I can accept then nothing happens, or if I send the challenge he accepts but nothing happens, how do I fix this.

Is there any way to get a unique background just for a single server, without requiring everyone that goes on that server to have a client mod?

sadly no. Only thing that you can really do is edit the welcome message lol.

I'm sorry if the wording wasn't exactly great, but now that I reread what I said, I think I was a bit unclear. I mean the background during battle, not in the chat windows. I'd like to move the positions of the sprites around and change the picture that you see in the back.

How can i see my score in the ladder if i just started and i barely won like 10 matches? i cant find my score anywhere. can anybody help me? im just new to this whole "shoddy" pokemon thing... thanks...

nah, you need to edit the client to do that, and if you did.. everyone would have to download it.. which just wont happen sadly.

Right click your name, and click "view record".

Since it's just me and a few others who want to do it, would it be possible to make a client mod just for the few of us? I see that in the shoddy source there is a picture file of grass, if I overwrite that with the field that I want to use, would that be possible?

Ive tried it, and yes its possible.. but you need alot of time, skill and patience. In order to distribute your version, you need to sign the jars.

Uh, is it just me, or is Pikachu's Attack not doubling with the Light Ball? :\ Well while I'm editting the stats over here with the Team Builder, the Sp.Atk is accordingly doubled, but the Attack is still the same ._. in the display, at least.

It doesn't show up in the Team Builder, but Pikachu's attack is doubled.
