Pursuit-Crunch mixup?

I am aware that Shoddy 1 is no longer being glitchfixed, but this was a very bizarre bug that I have not seen before. If this has already been reported, I apologize, but otherwise I think this would be very useful for the production of Shoddy 2.

So this is a standard ladder match. My lead is Uxie; his is Tyranitar. After 2 turns of setting up rocks, etc., I decide to switch to my Scizor while he Crunches me. However:

Uxie used U-turn.
It's super effective!
Tyranitar lost 20% of its health.
Lacus Clyne switched in Scizor (lvl 100 Scizor ?).
Tyranitar used Crunch.
Pointed stones dug into Scizor.
It's super effective!
Scizor lost 12% of its health.
Uxie lost 71% of its health.
Lacus Clyne's Uxie fainted.
The sandstorm rages.

I've had this happen to me, too. I just ignored it. And I think that that's all you can do, too.
