Default The Green Puncher

Hello its my first time posting a team and i welcome any advice u got for me

Team Summary:

Potemkin @ Choice Scarf
Jolly Nature | Ability : Sand Stream
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
~ Stone Edge
~ Crunch
~ Pursuit
~ Superpower

I lead with him to outspeed and OHKO Ninetales with Stone Edge and 2HKO Deoxys-D with Crunch, also helps revenge kill Latios/Latias and Gengar, and Sandstorm which helps Landorus net some important KO's

Venom @ Toxic Orb
Impish Nature | Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 236 HP / 252 Def / 20 Spe
~ Spore
~ Leech Seed
~ Substitute
~ Focus Punch

The main pokemon of this team with its awesome move Spore, it is my status absorber with 93% to survive +1 Outrage from Dragonite and the ability to setup Substitute on alot of tanks and go Focus Punching.

Robo-Ky @ Air Balloon
Timid Nature | Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 36 HP / 252 SpA / 220 Spe
~ Substitute
~ Thunderbolt
~ Hidden Power(Fire)
~ Flash Cannon

Ferrothorn and Scizor are swarming all over the OU so i added magnezone, Flash Cannon instead of Charge beam coz i dont have time to set up with it and to hit Tyranitar for good damage if i needed to.

Ky @ Leftovers
Modest Nature | Ability: Levitate
EVs: 112 HP / 252 SpA / 144 Spe
~ Volt Switch
~ Hydro Pump
~ Will-O-Wisp
~ Pain Split

To burn physical attackers and to counter gyarados, politoed with volt switch and donphan, hippowdon with hydro pump and for its ability to take in some damage.

Sol @ Leftovers
Calm Nature | Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpD / 8 Spe
~ Lava Plume
~ Stealth Rock
~ Protect
~ Toxic

Second pokemon i usually lead with for Stealth rock, i chose it because of the Dragon and steel infested metagame with the ability to block draco meteor and to stall.

Justice @ Expert Belt
Naive Nature | Ability: Sand Force
EVs: 228 Atk / 28 SpA / 252 Spe
~ Earthquake
~ Stone Edge
~ U-Turn
~ Hidden Power(Ice)

With the ability to hit alot of pokemons for super effective damage imo expert belt is a better choice than life orb to stay alive longer and to net some more KO's if possible.

Sorry for being non Original and thanks for reading, give me any advice please

Since your running expert belt on landorus, use smack down instead of stone edge, smack down + EQ allow you to destroy skarm

Theres no need to use Smack Down since he has Maggy to trap Skarmory and in casy Maggy fails still Heatran and Rotom.

I guess you still have to expand you descriptions otherwise this thread will be locked.

No time for a proper rate but you have some extremely redundant type coverage and roles in your team which results in massive weaknesses to Fighting types in particular. Heatran and Magnezone, and Rotom-W and Magnezone, both do pretty similar things. You also look weak to stall and Dragonite to an extent, since if it gets +1 you really have nothing to revenge it with, although it will have serious difficulty setting up.

Try just using physically defensive Taunt Skarmory over Magnezone. You get a nice boost against stall, the best DDNite counter, and a decent check to Fighting types although you'll still suffer a lot against Terrakion. If you want to you can run some form of SD Gliscor instead of Landorus, providing a more stable counter to Fighters, still helping a little against Dragonite and stall, etc.

Hope this helps, nice to see someone else using SubSeed Loom. Good luck :)

It's important to note that a good Ninetails user will realise that Drought went up second and won't leave it in to receive a scarf stone edge.
