that before the change, Mid-Battle Evolutions are only allowed when the starting EC, EC gained through battle, and KO Counters gained through battle applied to EC, meet the amount needed to evolve. Which it hasn't. So sorry.

Also, I have no idea about the past energy cost for Absorb, because it apparently was buffed, so I'm just using the energy cost in the data thread, right now.

Ringo focuses all his stored energy within himself into evolution, his body glows bright, stretching and bulking until he evolves into a Zweilous!!!!!!!!!

Chuckling, Dokuto multiplies into a quartet of spikey poisonous cocoons with a Double Team! Vladdy takes advantage of their horror (giant murderous poisonous bugs: one is enough) to dig underground! Peeved at his failure, Ringo blasts a Toxic at Vladdy, but, with him being underground and all, it sort of misses him. Needles is a bit craftier, noticing the fact that his opponent isn't actually there anymore, focusing her energy into Growth and raising his attack and special attack! Vladdy, blad to be alive and un-grass'd, comes up and performs one of his many, many, many, many Dig attacks. When you've been fighting for a round or seven, you're bound to see SOME repetition, but seriously, next thing you know, he'll be spamming Rock Slide again.

Dokuto and his new friends team-squish Ringo like Steamrollers, which is painful because of the spikiness of the aggressive party. Vladdy uses Rock Slide, which is equally painful, due to the predictability of the aggressive party. Ringo uses Fire Fang, OHKOing the clone sacrificed by the RNG. Needles launches her belated offense, sucking out poor Vladdy's energy with a greedy Absorb!

Making a u-turn, Dokuto and co Bug Bite Needles. Somehow. Don't think too hard, this is actually just an internet-based role play of pokemon, they don't actually exist, logic and common sense do not consistently apply here. Vladdy begins summoning some familiar-looking icy pillars, which Ringo takes as an opportunity to Dark Pulse him. What a terrific idea. Needles destroys one of the clones with a Leech Seed. before being flattened beneath a superpowered Avalanche from Vladdy!

Yeah, the whole Drain-type energy buff was ridiculous. With Giga Drain, for instance, you do 8 damage and recover 4. Net gain of 12. So the Energy should be 8, right? Lol, no, it's 12, which destroys the viability of the move.

Oh, well. Vladdy, chill, then Dig and stay underground, then come up and hit Ringo. I trust that Dokuto will be able to take care of Needles.

Uhh...I think it does evolve. What I think that meant was that it can't evolve after getting a KO counter in THIS BATTLE. However, it can still evolve when it is released.

Round 15: This Was A Triumph

Performing some quick on-the-spot math, Needles deduces that he is totally fucked, and decides to end with a bang, throwing out a last Sucker Punch before being KO’d by a finishing Steamroller! The last clone fades away as the final strike hits home. Vladdy, too worn to do anything, just chills, while Ringo vengefully attacks Dokuto with a devastating Earth Power!

Dokuto, fresh out of distractions, nonetheless charges towards Ringo with another implausible Bug Bite, but it fails to penetrate his Protect! Vladdy digs away from…something.

Dokuto loops around for another try, successfully crushing Ringo under another Steamroller! Vladdy tackles him with yet ANOTHER Dig attack, but Ringo ignores the weakened amphibian in front of his face, just BEGGING to be KO’d, and instead hits Dokuto with another Earth Power. Sigh. However, the geo-energy does lower his special defense one stage! And that’s why you should stay green.
