Pachirisu

http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-dp/417.shtml

Here are the stats:

Base Stats

HP 60
ATT 45
DEF 70
SP A. 45
Sp Def 90
Speed 95

Due to weak attack stats, I will not include any physical or special attacks that are not at least 120 base power, or at least potentially. Useful, but weak moves will be under Support.

Special:

Thunder
Grass Rope

Physical:

Flail
Hurl
Treasure

Support:

Somersault
Bide (LOL)
SUPER FANG (This caught my eye, and is the reason I did this thread)
Charm
Quick Attack
Light Screen
Covet
Bite
Flatter
Fake Tears
Attract
Entice
Thunder Wave
Dig? (LOL)

Not much to be honest, but enough to make 1 or 2 usable sets:

Pachirisu @Wisdom Glasses
252 evs speed, 252 evs special attack. Timid Nature.

~Substitute
~Super Fang
~Fake tears
~Grass Rope

Perhaps you lure out Whiscash, and you Sub the turn it comes in. Fake Tears it, and Grass Rope it, hoping for a 1hko with Wisdom Glasses.

Pachirisu @ Leftover

~Flatter/Attract (Lack of Confuse Ray, use this vs a Physical Attacker)
~Super Fang
~Substitute
~Thunder Wave

Stop them with thunder wave, and then sub until they are fully paralyzed. Confuse or infactuate them so you can score some Super Fangs.

Pachirisu @ Leftovers

~Thunder Wave/Super Fang
~Substitute
~Flatter
~Fake Tears

Variation of the above, but it works nicely with Fake Tears similar to Swagger + Screech on Crobat (From my Brock GL Team). If you want a link here: [thread=17742]Brock [/thread]

[thread=17742][/thread] = Profile.

All in all, it relies on speed and has a surprisingly high 95 base Special Defense, but it is canceled out by low HP

An item I would consider for Pachirisu due to the inaccuracy of Super Fang AND Thunder is the Magnifying Lens, which is a 1.1x multiplier, making Thunder 77% and Super Fang 99% accurate, and as anyone who's used either move knows, that can mean a lot.

What a bizarre Pokemon. It doesn't even really pay to bother with attacks at all; Super Fang and status rape are pretty much the only way you're going to hurt anything. I'd probably use a hax item (i.e. King's Rock) and just hope for the best.

Annoying set from hell:

@ Leftovers
~ Flash
~ Super Fang
~ Discharge
~ Substitute

Use with SR/Spike Support. Flash to lower Acc, Super Fang crap, use Sub to remain alive, and finish off foes with Discharge, used also for the sexy para rate. Flash now has 100% acc which is awesome.

What really blows me away about Pachirisu is how its stats are kind of a joke, and yet I've seen it beat the life out of things on several PBR videos. I watch it go up against things that are BL, some even OU, and say "lolPachirisu," and then I look the fool when it ends up beating them. This thing is going to see a lot of usage on Wi-Fi thanks to its popularity and cuteness factor... just don't write it off as a free KO.
edit: In before Kristy Haruka. XD

Yeah I've read a lot of threads here.

You also know that all of those victories were based on pure luck, right?

I like Deck Knight's set. Maybe use brightpowder with it.

Which works nicely with spikes. And of course, this prevents it from even wanting to switch in again, its almost like Danger Anticipate is Whishcash's own counter, preventing it from even wanting th switch in for long. And you would probably use Super fang first anyways, which score a 50% reduction of the remaining life on whatever pokemon your foe sends out, (Does it work on ghosts?)

That's what I meant by "don't write it off as a free KO." Some of the dumbest freakin' teams and movesets win on luck alone. Kind of a shame, really. Luck is the great equalizer.

I could see something like this being a big annoyance:
Pachirisu@ Life Orb
Super Fang
Grass Rope
Sweet Kiss
Substitute

A successful Sweet Kiss can give it time to Sub up and cripple something with Super Fang. Super Fang and Sweet Kiss are level-up moves, so I'd expect to see those moves on a lot of the Pachirisu in random Wi-Fi battles.
edit: And actually, I'm not even sure if Life Orb would help much with Grass Rope. Maybe Leftovers instead.

you need more stalling, t-wave is more reliable, or use swagger/flatter, but twave is sitll the best, and its permanent.

Sub (required basically)
Super Fang (required basically)
Filler
Filler

basically we can only choose 2 other moves from the 1st post to make it usable.

perhaps Filler1= Somersault, and Filler 2= Thunderwave.

Paralyze, sub, half their life, and somersault when you can't/dont want to stay in.

I'd rather have Whiscash know Grass Rope is coming and retreating him anyway than not knowing it and having his ass handed to me on a silver platter.

Charm, Thunder Wave and Somersault should just have it support the rest of the team. It's sad, but this thing is just outclassed by Pikachu's crack friends.

This pokemon is garbage...apart from Super Fang abuse there is no reason to use this. Grass Rope/Super Fang/Substitute/Thunder (Wave) could hurt stuff a little I guess...Thunder's power isn't *that* terrible with STAB behind it.

Perhaps:

@leftovers

Swagger
Sub
Thunder Wave
Super Fang

Hax, hit for 1/2 life, hax, sub up for taking hits, and Swagger inflicts the damage when needed. This is a haxer set, trampled on by many switches+Heal Bell/Aromatherapy, but switches grant Super Fang, so go figure.

Pachirisu is a useless piece of shit outside of maybe hurting some things with Super Fang and paralyzing with Thunder Wave in preparation for something more powerful to sweep.

Guess what, this was King Arthur again. I see little reason to discuss this pile of shit any further considering we know next to nothing about NU yet, but nothing wrong with the thread for the rest really...

Hmm... Pachirisu really does suck. >.< I made a set for him, nonetheless and want to share:

@Choice Scarf
Thunder Wave/Discharge/Spark
SuperFang
U-Turn
Chargebeam/Fling

Opener Pachirisu. It's pretty easy to see what to do. ThunderWave or Discharge for Paralysis. Nope. No Thunderbolt. Pachirisu attacks with Thunderbolt and then gets OHKO. With that 45 base Sp. Attack, it won't KO anything with Thunderbolt, so you might as well make good use of Discharge and Spark. SuperFang is obviously a must here as it's one of Pachirisu's best attacks. Nonetheless, it probably can be switched to something else. >.> U-turn in case you see that Pachirisu can't survive (pff... you'll probably use it every time then). And Charge Beam which boosts your Sp. Attack and therefore you also get a boost for Discharge. Fling? You fling your Choice Scarf and you are free to use every move at the risk of losing your speed. Though Pachirisu's best stat is speed, but meh. Lol. Just my two cents. Lol. I'm sure there is better.

EDIT: Hmm... he can also learn Light Screen which could be useful. But still pretty... meh. >.>
