Kabuto Kup 4 - Back in Action

Old habits die hard, and once again it's time for another Kabuto Kup. For those of you who were around for the last three, you know the drill. And for anyone who wants to read up on some background info, or if you need clarification on the format check: http://www.smogon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2373
Unfortunately, the first two threads were lost on the netbattle forums. Because of popular demand, a simple GSC tournament won't be enough for the users of Smogon, so this time around a small council has decided upon following the same basic format, but throwing a twist in. This year's Kabuto Kup will feature all 3 generations in every round. The pairing format is as follows:

- There will be eight teams of four. There will also be 8 divisions of four. None of the divisions will have the same teammate in them.
- There will be two winners in the tournament: the Single Player winner and the Team Winner.
- Every round will consist of a randomly chosen generation against all three of a respective players opponents. Ex:

Kabuto Bracket
FM
Omni
Glalie
Cloud9x

Contestant 1 Battles:
FM vs. Omni - GSC
FM vs. Glalie - RBY
FM vs. Cloud9x - RS

...and so on listed for all 4 contestants. Note that the versions chosen will be randomly picked.
- The final will consist of a best-of-three series with all the generations used.
- The teams are determined from previous Kabuto Kups. The team member from that team has to conform to come back or not. If that person doesnt respond, then it's an empty blank. The captains decide who to pick by picking their first 5 picks via PM. Captains and players from previous cups have top priority, in the highly likely case in which not all 8 previous captains show up, new captains will be chosen by the panel.
- You may sign up in this thread to be placed into the draft pool, or form a team before the draft pool is finished. However, be advised that your team will be subject to rejection if you do not wait till the draft pool is finished, this is a selective tournament, former contestants get top priority.
- If two people scheduled to battle cannot arrange a battle in time, they must show up in Smogon at the cutoff. If both show up, you will battle then. If one shows up at the cutoff and the other doesn't, the one who didn't show up will lose. If neither shows up, they will be given 3 more days, but their battle will not count for points.
- There will be subs available if they want to be. The Captain will decide who is the sub and who isn't.
- In case of a tie, the contestants with the same amount of points will face off in a tiebreaker to determine advancement.

Once again, this is the main signup sheet, but the final contestants are chosen by a panel. Choices are based on your reliability, participation in the previous Kabuto Kups, and history in the online community.

* No Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Ho-oh, Wobbuffet/Wynaut, Latias, Latios, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Deoxys (all forms)
* No illegal movesets
* No OHKO moves (No Horn Drill, Fissure, Guillotine, or Sheer Cold)
* No Evasion moves (No Double Team or Minimize)
* Lax Incense, BrightPowder, Focus Band, Quick Claw and King's Rock are banned.
* Sleep Clause
* Species Clause
* XD moves WILL be allowed
* Freeze Clause
* No Self-KO allowed on last pokemon
* Only Stadium Present is allowed

G/S/C
* No Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Ho-oh, or Celebi
* No illegal movesets
* No OHKO moves (No Horn Drill, Fissure, or Guillotine)
* No Evasion moves (No Double Team or Minimize)
* BrightPowder, Focus Band, Quick Claw and King's Rock are banned.
* Sleep Clause
* Species Clause
* Freeze Clause
* No Self-KO allowed on last pokemon
* Sleep Perish Trapping is banned
