There are no real restrictions on moves, but there will be rain on every day except Wednesdays (determined by what day the ref refs) unless the players choose something different, and there are Gyarados in the lake. If the players disturb the Red Gyarados in the middle he will use Dragon Rage against everyone. It is also surrounded by trees, which Pokemon can hide in or use for whatever they want. You could even set them on fire. -------------------------

Okay, Jorm, this is your first battle since you've evolved, so I'm expecting something damn good from you. You can start off by Activating Intimidate.
Then, use Earthquake. After that, use Earthquake again if it didn't use Magnet Rise, or else use move in amongst the trees to try to take cover from thunderbolts and use Flamethrower if it is not raining, or otherwise use Aqua Tail. Then, go along the same instructions as the second action.

Righto Magnemite, lets do this!
Your ability for this battle will be Sturdy. First off, use Magnet Rise, so he can't Earthquake again. Then use Thunderbolt, followed by Discharge

Jorm (M) HP: 100 Energy: 100 Boosts/Drops: Others: ![]() Dynamite HP: 80 Energy: 100 Boosts/Drops: Others: --------------------------------------------------------- round something story? what story? well it's raining! and there are lots of gyarados here! and there's a nice red shiny one... wait, i have that one already! I CAUGHT THAT EXACT ONE! Anyway, Jorm's a big angry serpent residing in the lake alongside a million other Gyarados. In comparison to the little small fry down there floating, I'd say they're about 66 inches apart. You know what that means. THAT'S INTIMIDATING! Dynamite seems a bit strong in nature though and pulls off a Magnet Rise. After that happened, Jorm seems a bit confused about what he's supposed to do. Earthquake? Nope. The set of instructions he's reading certainly says GO TO THE TREEEEES! And so he does, but he's so freaking big that his tail is STILL a HUGE freaking freaking freaking target for a Thunderbolt! Zapped! Jorm doesn't look happy at all from the attack and after rereading the instructions... he's to Aqua Tail? Sure, okay. There he goes, slamming his huge electrified tail onto the little magnet, with extra force from the rain. Since Dynamite was floating through the lake in an attempt to get closer to Jorm, it was basically submerged underwater! That said, Dynamite goes into a Discharge and SHOCKS EVERYTHING IN THE LAKE FOR SUPER EFFECTIVE DAMAGE! As it's shocking, it eventually gets out of the water and sees a terrifying Red Gyarados advancing to both Jorm and it. Red Gyarados goes "RAWR DRAGON RAGE" and both mons take 10 damage. Oh bummer. Both critters are around the right side of Red Gyarados, above the lake. --------------------------------------------------------- Calculations Jorm A1: Intimidate > [2 Energy] A2: Hide behind trees > [2 Energy] A3: Aqua Tail > 9 + 3 + 3 (rainboost) + (5-3 x 1.5) - 1 (sturdy) = [17 Damage/6 Energy] d-raged for 10 Dynamite A1: Magnet Rise > [4 Energy] A2: Thunderbolt > 10 + 3 + (4-3 x 1.5) x 2.25 = [33 Damage/6 Energy] A3: Discharge > 6 (hitting too many gyarados) + 3 + (4-3 x 1.5) x 2.25 = [24 Damage/5 Energy] d-raged for 10 Jorm (M) HP: 33 Energy: 90 Boosts/Drops: Others: ![]() Dynamite HP: 53 Energy: 85 Boosts/Drops: -1 Atk Others: Magnet Rise (3 more actions) sorry, gyarados is a fatty elDino's actions! |

Gyara, I want you to hide among all of the Gyarados on the first action and stay there, so that hopefully Dynamite will target the wrong one with the Thunderbolts (it might even attack him, which would be awesome ;)). Then, use Aqua Tail and then Reversal while staying in the lake.

Jorm (M) HP: 33 Energy: 90 Boosts/Drops: Others: ![]() Dynamite HP: 53 Energy: 85 Boosts/Drops: -1 Atk Others: Magnet Rise (3 more actions) --------------------------------------------------------- round something This round begins with Jorm attempting to join forces with the other Gyarados in the lake (because there are like a billion blue ones) to create a makeshift double team! Dynamite's eyes are pretty crappy and they couldn't catch on Jorm fast enough... so it attempts to Thunderbolt a random Gyarados! BZBZBZbzbBBZBZBbZBzbzzbZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!! This... completely shocks the wrong one and makes it faint! What a meanie! Then from behind, Jorm emerges from the group of wild Gyarados and slams a enormous Aqua Tail that plummets Dynamite right into the water's deep! The pressure of the water signals a neat critical hit! From underwater, Dynamite can still function perfectly fine as it Discharges... everything once again! The shock causes basically every Gyarados except Jorm to faint... and as they collapse onto the great Lake of Rage, they create a huge, swarming tidal wave that essentially floods Dynamite with raging water! Jorm seems to be a bit comfortable with the flood and dives down into the submerged Dynamite for a underwater Reversal! He completely wraps his body around the magnet and squeezes the life out of it! This breaks parts of Dynamite's magnets and screws off... that suddenly start conducting and making a complete destructive Thunderbolt that goes through the water in a flash and ZAPS Jorm! By then... everything went blank... --------------------------------------------------------- Calculations Jorm A1: Blending with dem gyaradoses > [2 Energy] A2: Aqua Tail > 9 + 3 + 3 (rainboost) + 3 (crit) + (5-3 x 1.5) - 1 (sturdy) = [17 Damage/6 Energy] A3: Reversal > 15 + (5-3 x 1.5) x 1.5 - 1 (sturdy) = [26 Damage/10 Energy] Dynamite A1: Thunderbolt > 10 + 3 + (4-3 x 1.5) x 2.25 = [33 Damage/6 Energy] (faints another gyarados) A2: Discharge > 6 (hitting way too many gyarados and fainting them) + 3 + (4-3 x 1.5) x 2.25 = [24 Damage/5 Energy] A3: Thunderbolt > 10 + 3 + (4-3 x 1.5) x 2.25 = [33 Damage/6 Energy] Hit by tidal flood > 5 damage Jorm (M) HP: big fat ZERO Energy: Boosts/Drops: Others: ![]() Dynamite HP: 2 Energy: 68 Boosts/Drops: Others: hahahahahaha Prizes! KO Counter: Dynamite (1) 1 EC and DC: Dynamite | Jorm doesn't need em 2 MC: Dynamite | Jorm 2 Trainer Counters: elDino and Athenodoros 2 Ref Tokens: Flora |
