Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to CAP ASB Battles! A chance for young, aspiring trainers can duke it out for a chance to win it big and become a Pokemon master! My name is DarkSlay, and I'll be your MC and referee for what is expected to be an outstanding battle between two of the finest trainers in ASB! Let's get this match underway!

The ancient ruins from Sonic Riders. The battle takes place in a large sandy desert, surrounded by a racetrack. It's open to the sky. Note that only unevolved Pokemon may be used...because of some random reason that I was too lazy to think of.

*pants* Whew, it's hot here folks! Pokemon Battles finds itself in the middle of one of the hottest deserts in the world! And I'm not just talking about temperature here, folks: this is also the sight of some of the top racing and Pokemon Battle events too! We're here today to witness what should be an excellent match between two experience Pokemon trainers! Let's get this show on the road!

On one side, we have the challenger smashlloyd20! He stands with a smirk, thinking only of his victory at hand! Boy, he sure seems confident! He takes out his Pokeball and throws it into the air: out pops GAIA CRUSH, his Cubone! Cubone seems to be standing in a very intimidating manner, smacking his Thick Bone in and out of his hand. On the other side, we have Objection! He looks calm and collected, taking the time to study his opponent. What a strategist! He takes out his Pokeball and throws it into the air: out pops Captain Hook, his Privatyke! Around its neck is a tasty necklace made with an Oran Berry. He stands in an intimidating manner as well, eying his opponent straight on. This ought to be one intense fight!

Both seem to be at around the same speed, but GAIA CRUSH makes the first move! It quickly raises its Thick Club and thrashes it on the ground, creating huge ripples in the ground surrounding Captain Hook: an Earthquake! The quakes strike Captain Hook hard and fast, hitting for great damage! Captain Hook seems unfazed, however, and decides to take the opportunity to show off its huge muscles with a Bulk Up! It shows GAIA CRUSH its arms, and flexes them until they are as hard as rocks! Captain Hook raised its Attack and Defense by one stage!

This time, Captain Hook is the first to get off the mark. Instead of attacking, though, it lets out a loud Yawn right at its opponent! The sound is so sleep-inducing, even I am starting to get a bit tired...whoah, need to stay awake! The yawn hits GAIA CRUSH's ears, making it drowsy. It is sure to fall asleep after two of its next actions! GAIA CRUSH, feeling a bit tired, continues its assault on the ground in front of it, making more Earthquake ripples and crevices to smash Captain Hook into for damage!

Captain Hook prepares a watery substance from underneath itself at the end of this round. He uses the water to propel himself straight at his enemy: a powerful Waterfall! However, GAIA CRUSH quickly places its bone straight into the ground, creating a Protect-like shield that deflects the Waterfall! Feeling tired and happy, GAIA CRUSH is on the brink of falling asleep. It restrains itself from closing its eyes, waiting for its next command.

The match resumes with both Pokemon right in the middle of the arena. One seems a bit weathered down by the attacking, while the other looks shiny new but downright sleepy!

Captain Hook is the first Pokemon to make an action, and it decides to show GAIA CRUSH its awesome muscles once again, tightening them up with another impressive Bulk Up! Looks like this Privatyke has been hitting the gym, folks! GAIA CRUSH once again goes on a Quaking spree, smacking the ground with its massive bone for an Earthquake once more! The crevices widen, and Captain Hook is thrown about by the seismic activity! The nearby racetrack begins to shake. Is it losing its foundation? Cubone finally gives into its tiredness, and falls asleep right in the middle of the match! It looks like an intermediate sleep, meaning it should be snoozing for two actions!

GAIA CRUSH seems to be dreaming about his mother. How he used to hold him when he was young, and how they used to play in the fields together! What a touching dream. GAIA CRUSH is fast asleep! Captain Hook takes the opportunity to once again conjure up some water to make a powerful Waterfall attack aimed right at the sleeping GAIA CRUSH! This hits for great damage!

smashlloyd20 furiously yells at his GAIA CRUSH to wake up, but to no avail: now it's dreaming about eating together with its mommy! What a sad story. Poor little guy! GAIA CRUSH is fast asleep! Captain Hook smirks and once again slams into GAIA CRUSH with a wet Waterfall! Looks like some of us need some towels, because we're getting soaked up here! Let's hope our viewers don't get washed up either!

We're back, folks. GAIA CRUSH seems to be in a tough spot, while Captain Hook seems raring to fight! The intensity it is showing is really affecting the crowd!

The first Pokemon to react is Captain Hook. What a show off! It once again Bulks Up in front of the trainers. I wonder how many compliments I can give about Captain Hook's strength before it goes to its head? Its Attack and Defense is raised by one stage! GAIA CRUSH opens its eyes. It's awake! Sensing its pain for the first time, it becomes extremely angry, and pounds the ground rapidly, creating seismic activity with Earthquake! The quake strikes Captain Hook for good damage!

Captain Hook, like it's been doing all match long, creates foam from under itself and prepares a nasty Waterfall attack aimed right at GAIA CRUSH! However, the smart Cubone quickly reacts, Detecting the attack and smacking the waterfall with his bone, canceling out the Waterfall! GAIA CRUSH really knows how to use its sword, it seems!

Once again, it seems that Captain Hook gets the upper hand, moving first. Who would have guessed it - it's another powerful Waterfall! The watery attack flies straight at GAIA CRUSH, hitting it for massive damage! The blow was so large, that it startled GAIA CRUSH, and it flinched! What a turn of events, folks! This is looking like Captain Hook has the upper hand! What will smashlloyd do to try and come back?

Captain Hook seems to have had some sort of energy boost today: he's up first! Instead of attacking this time, though, he takes the opportunity to Recover off some of that damage. Captain Hook recovered 20 of its health! GAIA CRUSH angrily pounds the ground with its club, creating an Earthquake! This strikes Captain Hook for good damage!

Captain Hook and GAIA CRUSH start intently into each others' eyes. Their fury climaxes here, as they both release some of their strongest moves right at each other: GAIA CRUSH's menacing Earthquakes and Captain Hook's foamy Waterfalls! What's this? What is that creaking noise? The race track is collapsing! It falls down hard, and emits a cloud of sand dust that covers the battlefield! We can't even see the Pokemon! All we can hear, folks, is the battle cries of GAIA CRUSH and Captain Hook! Wait, it looks like the dust is clearing...and Captain Hook remains standing! Objection wins! Objection wins!

Can smashlloyd20 grab victory from the jaws of defeat, or will Objection take it all in just a matter of seconds? We'll find out! Captain Hook seems to have had some sort of energy boost today: he's up first! Instead of attacking this time, though, he takes the opportunity to Recover off some of that damage. Captain Hook recovered 20 of its health! GAIA CRUSH angrily pounds the ground with its club, creating an Earthquake! This strikes Captain Hook for good damage!
