And, so we have two soldiers walking wounded, & showing their battle scars after 7 ASB Rounds. We're now up to the 8th Round, & one has to keel over some time! What will happen this round? Who will keel over? Read on.

In an anticlimactic round, Misty opens with a Water Gun! Misty locks on to Harry & fires a jet of water at him! Its Super Effective! The jet does enough damage for Harry to fall over & faint, as Rittercat takes a decisive lead...

Rittercat leads 3-1. I will also send out Dummy's final Pokemon. Go, Neville (Colloshale)! Also, I thought the boiler worked in two phases, the normal part & the smokescreen part. After the smokescreen phase had ended, I thought it returned to its normal phase & regained the burn ability.

Round 9 Start

Time for Round 9 now! Rittercat went up 3-1 after Misty took care of Harry, & in response, Dummy sends out his final Pokemon: Neville the Colloshale! The large whale lands on the ground with a huge thud, shaking the ground with its colossal structure! Misty's taken care of two Pokemon, but how about a third? Misty looks burnt from the boiler & looks like it will keel over soon enough! What will happen this round? Read on.

So in an uneventful round, Misty opens with Toxic! It hurls some toxic sludge it created at Neville! Neville tries to evade this, but it's too big! Not to mention, it looks like it's going to be stationary the entire match...As a result, Neville, like everyone before him, gets fatally poisoned by the Toxic...Awww...

Action two, & it's a carbon copy of the first. The dumb Misty firing some more Toxic Sludge at the already poisoned Neville, who failed to dodge it. But suddenly, Neville gets a lucky break! The Burn that Misty was possessing suddenly became too much & Misty, as a result, succumbed to its burn. Dummy was glad to (finally) see Misty gone, but the damage had been done...

Round 10 Start

Alright time for Round 10! Last Round, it took him 2 Pokemon, but Dummy finally got rid of Misty! In its place, Rittercat sends out Fluffles the Monohm to try & finish Dummy once & for all! What will happen this round? Lets read on.

And it's Neville that opens out the round with an Earth Power! By concentrating on Fluffles with his huge eyes, he then summons a powerful geyser-like attack that hits Fluffles dead-on! Its Super Effective! Fluffles takes a number as the Earth Power created a permanent hole in the Boiler Room...And a massive repair bill when the match is done...Fluffles replies after that attack with a Thundershock! Fluffles shoots a mildly weak jolt of electricity that hits Neville pretty convincingly! Its Super Effective! Neville takes a number from the jolt as the first action ends.

Now for action two, & Fluffles prepares a Dragon Rage, but Neville delivers a surprise Sucker Punch at Fluffles! By using his tail, Neville whacks Fluffles, dealing a number. This however, has some repercussions, as Fluffles Static activates, paralysing Neville! The hax man strikes again...Fluffles, after that brief interruption, then unleashes his Dragon Rage! Fluffles fires a pulse of draconic energy at Neville, dealing a number.

Last action, & in the beginning of the action, Fluffles launches another Thundershock! Fluffles shoots a mildly weak jolt of electricity that hits Neville pretty convincingly! Its Super Effective! Neville takes a number as he tries to launch another Earth Power, but paralysis gets the better of him, fully paralysing him for the action. Boo stupid hax...

In the end, the two are three metres apart, with Neville being, well, in the same spot as before, & Fluffles is starting to feel the pain from those assaults. What will happen next round? Wait until these two issue more actions...

Round 11 Start

Okay peoples, welcome back to Round 11 of this ASB Match between Rittercat & Dummy007. Not much to say here, as Rittercat is cruising to a comfortable victory, exemplified by the fact that he still has one Pokemon to spare. What will happen this round? Well, let's find out, shall we?

To begin with, Fluffles starts with the same old Thundershock! He shoots a weak jolt of electricity at the paralysed Neville & deals a number. On the other hand, Neville responds back with an Earth Power! Another geyser-like force is summoned, whacking Fluffles for a number & increasing the damage bill for the match.

Second action, & it seems that Fluffles had had enough of the Earth Powers & uses Magnet Rise! By finding some sort of magnetism, Fluffles suddenly starts floating on the magnetism, temporarily giving him the Levitate ability! Neville responds to this with Payback! For all the hax that Fluffles had given him with Static, Neville whacks him with his tail, dealing a number.

Final action, & Fluffles delivers another Thundershock! He shoots a weak jolt of electricity at the paralysed Neville & deals a number. On the other hand, Neville responds back with an Earth Power! Another geyser-like force is summoned, but Fluffles is floating just barely above the peak of the force & avoids damage. Not to mention, Dummy's going to have to fork out a lot of money when the match is done...

The two are 3 metres apart from each other, not that it matters. Now to wait for more actions...

Round 12 Start

Alright, we're back to the Boiler Room for Round 12, & it's endgame time here! With Neville on the brink & Fluffles alive & kicking, we are ready to see what should be the final round! Will Rittercat end this now, or will Dummy007 keep it alive for another round? Either way, we'll find out this round.

To start with, Fluffles opens with a Thundershock! Neville is struck by a jolt of electricity & takes a number. In return, Neville responds with a Mud Bomb! By creating some mud internally, Neville fires a projectile encased in mud at Fluffles, which manages to hit, despite Fluffles Levitating!

Second action, & Fluffles fires off a Dragon Rage! Fluffles shoots some draconic energy at Neville, dealing predictable damage, as Neville responds with some Payback, boosted after the damage from Dragon Rage & whacks him for quite a decent number!

Last action, & as Fluffles prepares a Thundershock, Neville quickly responds with a Sucker Punch, whacking him with his tail & leaving him on the brink of defeat. Nevertheless, Fluffles carries on with the Thundershock as promised! Fluffles strikes Neville with a jolt of electricity, & it deals enough damage to KO Neville & bring the battle to a close! Rittercat celebrates as a dejected Dummy withdraws his Pokemon. The two shake each others hands, say their gg's, & I present Dummy007 with the damage bill for Neville's Earth Powers. =P

And that's about it, I assume. Dummy, there's a couple of things that cost you here, 1. This is ASB, not cartridge Pokemon, there isn't always Rocks to use Rock Slide or any other Rock Type with, & 2. Pay a little more attention to the stats & the arena description, if you may. Other than that, you did make a few more mistakes, but your still new, it's all part of the ASB learning curve, & you'll get better as time goes on. :)

gg, for the most part. Flavor hurts (and Staryu pretty much hard-countered my whole team), but Neville still got enough counters to evolve, so it wasn't a waste. Good job Rittercat, and thanks to Its_A_Random for an error-free (I think) and timely reffing job!

Last action, & as Fluffles prepares a Thundershock, Neville quickly responds with a Sucker Punch, whacking him with his tail & leaving him on the brink of defeat. Nevertheless, Fluffles carries on with the Thundershock as promised! Fluffles strikes Neville with a jolt of electricity, & it deals enough damage to KO Neville & bring the battle to a close! Pay a little more attention to the stats & the arena description, if you may.
