Challenging Levren to a battle!

2v2 singles
3 day DQ
2 recoveries, 5 chills

A large field in the Hoenn region with 2 foot high grass. The weather is currently calm, but is prone to changing to hot, wet, cold, and windy conditions. Pokemon such as Zigzagoon, Tailow, and Wurmple live in this field and coming across one may result in your pokemon being attacked. There are also a few rocks scattered about for cover or as platforms to get a good look at the area.

Effects:
Pokemon 2" or smaller are harder to spot but have limited vision due to tall grass.
Every two turns the weather will randomly change.
Hot: Sunny Day status, grass becomes dry and easily flamable
Wet: Rain Dance status, grass becomes impossible to burn and harder to traverse.
Cold: Hail status, grass provides some cover from hail and rocks become icy and impossible to stand on.
Windy: flying pokemon use up one energy per action while flying, pokemon under 10 lbs can be swept away by winds if standing on rocks.
10% chance every action of finding a wild pokemon. Zigzagoon uses tackle, Tailow uses peck, and Wurmple uses poison sting.
Since Levren did not specify the other rules, I'm going to say
Switch=KO
All abilties
No items
to keep ot simple.
Shyguy sends out first, then Levren sends out his Pokemon and orders. Shyguy orders, I ref and so on.

alright shyguy if you want it me and my Syclar Hukarere are happy to obliged

K Hukarere, I know this is our first battle, but lets start it off with some big hits. So first off hit him with toxic, then go for venoshock to do some big damage and then use leech life to recover from some of the damage you took this turn.

toxic---> venoshock ---> Leech life

Libra, use the environment to your advantage here, dive into the tall grass to try to Dodge the Toxic, if your hit hopfully the grass will prevent all of the poison from getting on you. After that, rush towards Hukarere and surprise it with a Screech followed by a powerful Aerial Ace.

Dodge Toxic >>> Screech >>> Aerial Ace

P.S. Wow Lev, I'm no Grammar Nazi, but holy crap.

A nice, calm day. Two friends trudge through thick, long grass. Reaching the middle of a clearing, the two face eah other and draw their weapons - they aren't just friends, they're Pokemon Trainers!
Shyguy's weapon of choice is an Aipom known as Libra.

Abilities:
Run Away: (Innate) This Pokemon is quick on its feet and can evade any traps in an arena. Run Away does not allow the Pokemon to escape from trapping moves or abilities, however it can escape other situational trapping strategies in battle.
Pick Up: (Inate) This Pokemon has a natural habit of collecting items. Whenever a hold item (it's own or an opponents) is used or knocked onto the ground with a move like Knock Off, this Pokemon will immediately pick up that item without using an action. It can also grab dropped or naturally occuring hold items in arenas.
Skill Link (DW): (Inate) (Not Unlocked) This Pokemon’s skillfull aim makes its multi-hit moves always hit 5 times. The Energy Cost of multi-hit attacks is increased by three (3).

Type: Ice/Bug
Ice: Ice STAB; immune to freezing and Sheer Cold, no vision loss or damage in Hail or snowstorm conditions, perfectly accurate and 30% Protect breaking Blizzard in Hail. Superior senses and mobility in frozen caves and other frigid arenas.
Bug: Bug STAB; More mobility in dense brush or forest conditions. Gain an extra guaranteed attack on multi-hit moves.

Abilities:
Compoundeyes: (Innate) This Pokemon’s complex eyes give it a comprehensive view of the field, making its attack 30% (x1.3) more accurate.
Mountaineer: (Innate) This Pokemon is used to scaling and avoiding rocks. It can avoid damage from Stealth Rock when it switches in, and one Rock-type attack per round.
Technician (DW): (Innate) This Pokemon is more skilled at performing weaker moves, causing any of their attacks that normally deal 6 or below base damage to have their base damage multiplied by 1.5. (e.g. Aerial Ace goes from 6 to 9, Mach Punch goes from 4 to 6, etc.) The Energy Cost for a one-hit or two-hit attack is increased by one (1). (I'm taking the grass to give 10% flat modifiers to accuracy and evasion.)
Hukarere, who will henceforth be referred to as Huky for simplicity kicks things off by spraying a Toxic ooze at Libra. Libra attempts to avoid it, but the small edge in speed she has over her opponent affords her little assistance to this end and she becomes badly poisoned.
The venom quickly becomes distressing, and the ape Screeches at her opponent in anger. But Syclar is far from finished with the poisonous substances, and fires the infamous and potentially gamebraking Venom Shock at his opponent.
Libra kickstarts her offensive with Aerial Ace, effortlessly seeking out Huky and striking him for notable damage. He attempts to respond with Leech Life but in his confusion and with thick grass obscuring his vision he fails to achieve his goals, leaving both combatants on identical health!

Shyguy, then Levren.

Damn I thought that would work. Alright Libra, strike with another Aerial Ace while Huky's defense is still down, then hit it with Sand Attack to make you even harder to hit. Finally, end by using U-Turn to make a quck escape.

Aerial Ace >>> Sand Attack >>> U-Turn

ok huky great job last turn now what I want you to do is be hit by aerial ace, and as soon as it hits use counter to deal some major damage back to him, then use venoshock for another big hit to libra, then round it out with leech life before he could use u-turn to recover a bit from the aerial ace.

counter---> venoshock---> leech life

Libra swiftly resumes her offensive, striking the still vulnerable Syclar with Aerial Ace. Huky however is one move ahead, and Counters the move easily for considerable damage!
Confidence shattered, Aipom monkeys around, throwing her... oh wait that's just a Sand Attack, nevermind! But nonetheless, the attack fails to find a victim, Libra unable to spot her small, speedy opponent in the grass. Huky has no such problem, the thrown sand allowing him to easily acquire his target for a vicious Venom Shock!
As things go from bad to worse, Aipom attempts to flee, using a U-Turn to deliver a swift hit and run. This at least is successful, her superior speed allowing her to outrun Huky as he loses track of her in the grass.

man I haven't seen a monkey move that fast since diddy kong racing, but you did great last turn and we didn't really need leech life to hit, it would of been an added bonus for us.
so now lets finish it this turn, start off with earth power, then get pumped with focus energy for an even better chance of crit, then use slash to hopefully finsh this battle.

Earth Power---> Focus Energy---> Slash

Alright Libra, it looks like we are just about done here. Even if Huky doesn't take us out, the toxic will eventually. Let's go out fighting. Start off with Fake Out to get up close and flinch him before he can use Earth Power. Follow up with with Aerial Ace and then another Aerial Ace to try and get it's health as low as possible.

Low on health, Libra realises she needs to do something drastic. Quick as a flash, she claps her hands in Huky's face, the Fake Out flinching him and rendering him unable to attack.
She follows this up with the reliable Aerial Ace. Dazed, Syclar decides to pull himself together, focusing his energy.
Continuing her desperate battery with a second Aerial Ace, Libra leaves herself vulnerable, allowing Huky to score a critical hit with Slash! But regardless, she seems to have evened the odds against Syclar..

Great Job Libra! You just managed to survive that critical hit, but the toxic will take full effect next action. I don't want to take any chances in Huky striking before we do, so I want you to use Fake Out again, factoring in STAB, you should be able to take him out in one hit. After that you deserve a rest.

Fake Out (that's all)

Note: I think the weather was supposed to change last round, but it can change this next round to save time.

ok huky this could be the last move we get in so I want you to try to dodge fake out if you can then follow up with icy wind to knock out libra

Dodge---> Icy Wind

Dark clouds gather and it begins to rain, casting a dreary mood upon the weakened battlers. This mood is justified too; Libra bolts forward for another Fake Out. Huky attempts to dodge, but his effort is fruitless and he falls unconcious. Aipom has no time to celebrate though, quickly succumbing to the poison in her body and also faints.
surprised at the turn of events, both trainers send out their new Pokemon.

Levren is up next.

you did great for your first battle Hukarere and the toxic you delivered first round ended up making it so we're both down to our last pokemon, so now leave this to Adam

K Adam lets make sure we win this, so give it your all. though lets have some fun this first move and use metronome, then use lick and hope for paralysis, then finish the turn with brick break.

Metronome---> Lick---> Brick Break

Great job Libra, that was your first victory, shame you weren't able to enjoy it though. We can celebrate later, right now, Gordon let's go! Since toxic worked so well for Hucky before, I think we should start off with a Toxic of our own. Follow Up with a Leech Seed to keep the pressure on, and finish with a Growth. If you are paralyzed by the lick, replace growth with Aromatherapy.

Toxic>>> Leech Seed >>> Growth / Aromatherapy (if paralyzed)

Edit: Just noticed I did not reset Gordon's MC back to zero after getting toxic. I fixed it now, just thought I should say that to avoid confusion.

Sorry for the delay, I turned 18 this weekend and there's been some partying to do.

Gordon, fearing his opponent's impressive defensive ability decides to adopt a less offensive strategy and decides chip away at Adam slowly, beginning with a virulent Toxic. Adam however shows no inclination towards strategy and decides to waggle his fingers to perform the infamous (and pain in the ass to ref) Metronome! From the infinite cosmos Munchlax summons a pair of rodent-like teeth which he uses to Hyper Fang Embirch.
Said Embirch takes the hit and continues his slowly but surely approach, firing a Leech Seed at Adam, which takes root on the front of his stomach. Immediately feeling hungry as a result, Munchlax wonders if Embirch will make a nice meal, taste-testing him with lick.
Though the sunlight is limited, Gordon absorbs what little he can get and manages to increase his size. This sudden Growth appeals to the growing emptiness in Adam's stomach, but having just decided the taste to be unsatisfactory simply pummels his would-be food with Brick Break.

Alright Gordon I think we are done setting up so lets go on the offensive! Blast him with a Psybeam followed by an Earth Power and then finish off with Giga Drain. If by chance the weather turns sunny, change Psybeam to Flamethrower.

Psybeam / Flamethrower (if sunny) >>> Earth Power >>> Giga Drain

*It's been two rounds of rain so it should change next turn*

well he managed to get with toxic and leech seed, but we're still ahead HP wise so lets make him hurt this turn so start off with Rock Slide, then next hit him hard with Screech and while he's disoriented, make your way back to try and dodge giga drain

The wind changes direction suddenly, bringing with it an icy chill which causes the rain to frost up and form hail. Ignoring this, and feeling comfortably set up, Gordon begins to take the offensive. He begins by focusing his mind and releasing a Psybeam from within it. Adam is disoriented, but manages to hold himself together, launching a barrage of stones at Embirch in the form of a Rock Slide.
Enraged, Gordon decides that he too want to use the very earth against his opponent. Munchlax manages only a Screech as the ground below him erupts, the Earth Power hitting him hard.
Still ever so conservative, Embirch holds back a little and decides to recover some lost HP at the cost of someone else's. A stream of green energy moves from Adam towards Gordon as the tree...lizard... thing saps the sloths health with Giga Drain. Several seconds later, Adam attempts to dodge the attack, but to no avail.

that last round could of gone better, but there's no use crying over spilled milk, so we're going to make this on count, start off with a strong Brick Break, then go for a zen headbutt, and finish our turn off with a rock slide

Brick Break---> Zen Headbutt---> Rock Slide

Alright Gordon, we're doing good let's keep it up. Blast Adam with another Earth Power, set up with Reflect after the Brick Break lands, and finish with another Earth Power.

Earth Power >>> Reflect >>> Earth Power.

Seeing he has gained the upper hand, Gordon quickly resumes his offensive, erupting the ground below Munchlax once again with Earth Power. Adam however takes the hit better than before, and uses the momentum of the attack to propel himself into Embirch for his Brick Break.
Shocked by the force of the assault, Gordon pauses his attacking for a second to put up a Reflective barrier to lessen Adam's blows. Munchlax is annoyed at first, but then puts this and all other thoughts out of his head to achieve a Zen state, utilising its power to headbutt Embirch.
Satisfied with his now bolstered defenses, Embirch goes back to what he does best, flinging Munchlax away with yet another Earth Power. His opponent however is unphased once again, using Rock Slide from a distance rather than bothering to close the gap.

P.S. Not that it will matter much but weather changes next round.
P.P.S. I just noticed that Gordon's and Adam's energy have hardly dropped at all this battle.
