Hey. :'D My name's Rona.

I'm quite new here at Smogon, but I adore Pokemon and I've been playing since the games came out when I was 7. I've been lurking around for around a week, and to this date I've never seen such an involved Pokemon forum. You guys do some amazing things here. :0
I don't have much Pokemon artwork yet, so all I have are some examples of other things I've worked on this year. I'm aware most people probably prefer to see Pokemon art here. o.x This is my first thread, but I don't think the guidelines said anything about it being against the rules to post work that is not Pokemon related. xd

I've always been a fan of a strong foreground and detailed background. So... I was wondering if you could do (Old) Solid Snake with a Pokeball in the foreground and a Ekans in the background? Pokemon battle-esk.

This is what i mean by extreme foreground... though it is poorly drawn.. and my idea of it but please do as you will o.o

New work-in-progress~

Supposed to be for DEZTROYA, for being nice enough to find my SID for me without asking for anything in return :0 He says his favorite pokemon's Charizard, and his avatar's a shiny charizard, so this is based on the shiny version of charizard, which is black.

I still need to work on the lighting, texturing, and overall detail. Especially on the wings. o 3o Right now, its body looks very clay-like. I also tried twisting around a bit of its anatomy to make a lil more sense, but not by much. Technically, if it were to be able to fly, the pectoral muscles would be much, much larger. D: I also haven't gotten around to coloring, yet. The wing membranes should be red, and the fire will be orangeish and will cast a glow on the rest of the body~

A very serious looking Sableye with big professor-like glasses (with the signature glare).

I've always thought of Sableye as the type to fit that kind of mold.

This may be asking a bit much, but I'd really like it to be small enough to be an avatar, but it's fine if you don't, it'd just be cool to see a badass professor Sableye.
