Restrictions: No weather except Sandstorm, Artificial Field, Limited Ceiling, No Water Source

Description: At the entrance, there is a staircase you must climb. The case spirals around a circular column, about 20 metres high & 30 metres in diameter. At the top, there is a circular arena. The entrance is shut & is replaced by guardrails 10 metres high, which encircle the arena. you see a rectangular field, 20x15 metres in dimension, the rectangle consisting of some sand & some painted lines. Outside the rectangle is hard rock-like material that cannot be dug into, but the sand is, but only to a certain depth. There also may be loose rocks in the sand as well, only accessible by digging. The arena is also rather sturdy, allowing seismic activity to occur. Lastly, the arena is indoors, so the only weather that can occur is Sandstorm. This arena got its name, due to the fact that it clearly suits Ground-Types & for it's Cauldron-like appearance.

Summary: Circular arena, 30 metres in diameter, surrounded by 10 metre high guardrails. The centre of the arena consists of a rectangle, 20 metres long, 15 metres wide, the rectangle consisting of diggable sand & painted lines, the outside of the rectangle consists of hard, undiggable rock. Sturdy enough for seismic activity to occur. Loose rocks present in the diggable sand, only weather that can occur is Sandstorm.

Only three round? no problem. Alright Hyperion, start off with a Magnet Rise. Follow it up with a Zen Headbutt against Gengar and finally a Meteor Mash against Gengar.

Start up by setting a Sandstorm up. We love the sand, both Sand Strength and Sand Throw! Then, use Earthquake to shake things up a bit. We won't hurt our buddy Hyperion thanks to Magnet Rise, and we can use Mold Breaker to go through Gengar's Levitate :D. Since he is using Protect on action 3, we can go ahead and us Dig on Gengar so that we don't suffer from the reduction of moves affecting multiple opponents.

Summary: Sandstorm~Earthquake~Dig

Btw, since I already did it, here is an EQ calc for both opponents: [10 (BP) + 3 (STAB) + 2 (Sand Strength) + 4.5 (6-3 *1.5)] * 1.5 * 0.75 = 21.9 ~ 22

ROUND ONE: Its the Final Countdown...

Earth Cauldron, it's an arena I take pride of creating. My own Gym Arena, where Pokemon are surrounded by extremely sturdy guardrails, & for the flyers, the option to take the fight outside...Anyways, it's this arena that is the location for today's battle. A tag team doubles battle to be more precise. Each person were told to bring one Pokemon & make sure it's their strongest, because looking at some of the Pokemon, this is going to be a high-powered scrap. The first person arrives & it's a user named Fire Blast, & he decided to bring along with him, an Excadrill named Geb. A Ground-Type, Geb is sure to feel at home in this arena. Second up is a user named rewindman, & he decided to bring along Hyperion the Metagross. Looks good. Then along comes shadowbone66, who arrives with Machinery the Klink...Okay...Finally, PinkCaptainFalcon shows up with SAM the Gengar. Right...All four combatants go to their respective positions of the arena, as the entrance to the Earth Cauldron closes up. I go through the rules, & drop the flag to commence the beginning of the battle. Everyone sends in their respective Pokemon & the battle begins.

The battle opens with SAM moving first & launching a quickfire Perish Song! SAM lets off a horrible tune...More like a laugh...That everyone hears. The song puts a spell on everyone, putting a timer on the match! Either side now has nine actions to demolish the opposition, or a draw will occur...Tense situation...Next up is Geb & he makes sure that he gains a bigger advantage by using Sandstorm! Geb treads his way to the sand-filled rectangle & starts kicking it at an increasing speed, & before long, the entire field is encased in moving sand, creating a powerful Sandstorm that starts to rage! Third in line is Hyperion, & it decides to use Magnet Rise! Hyperion randomly finds some magnetism in the ground & starts to float on it, making him immune to seismic based Ground Type moves! Lastly, Machinery, being the odd one out, decides to make itself useful & use Thunder Wave! Machinery starts to spin faster & faster, before letting loose an electrical energy that strikes Hyperion, Paralysing Hyperion in the process! At this point, SAM in not enjoying the Sandstorm & is buffeted by it, taking minor damage!

Time for action two & a supercharged Geb lets loose an Earthquake! Geb makes a quick dash before jumping up & slamming the ground heavily, creating seismic waves! Luckily for Hyperion, it dodges the waves, however, Machinery & SAM, strangely enough, isn't as lucky, feeling the full brunt of the seismic waves, taking SE Damage & hitting the deck, before getting back up. SAM is next, & he goes to use Hypnosis! SAM floats his way up to Hyperion & lets off a sonic wave while laughing, trying to make Hyperion sleep! Hyperion is not amused & evades this attack with ease. Meanwhile, back on the cauldron floor, Machinery takes aim at Geb & lets loose a Mirror Shot! Machinery charges up & lets off a blinding green beam at Geb, hitting him dead on! Its not very effective...Geb stumbles back a bit, but the blinding beam does its job, lowering his accuracy 1 stage! Hyperion is last, & he overcomes paralysis to use Zen Headbutt! Hyperion focuses on SAM before launching a headbutt at him, but all SAM does is return the favour to Hyperion, dodging its attack as well!

Final action of the round, & sensing danger, Machinery decides to use Protect! Machinery closes its eyes, focusing on itself, before emitting a barrier around itself, protecting it from all attacks! Geb has other ideas, though, also sensing danger, decides to burrow underground. SAM continues to laugh at Hyperion, using Disable! SAM enters Hyperion's computerised mind & goes ahead to erase Zen Headbutt from Hyperion's memory! Hyperion tries to fight back to this, but suddenly, pulsating electricity surges through its system, fully paralysing Hyperion for the action. SAM continues to laugh, but was suddenly silenced as Geb fires out of the ground, uncovering some rocks in the process, & strikes SAM with Dig! Its Super Effective! SAM is sent hurtling before crashing into the centre of the cauldron, as the round ends.

Everyone bar Hyperion is on the cauldron floor at the moment, Hyperion 5 metres above the ground. Everyone's perish counter drops as death begins to draw near...What will happen next round? Wait until this lot issues actions...

ROUND TWO: Raising The White Flag...

Well, would you believe it, it's time for Round Two of this ASB Tag Team match, much to everyone's surprise. How exactly will the next three action go in this cauldron? Well, let's read on! You'll miss a lot if you don't, so I advise that you do.

Well, time for the first action of the round, & the super-speedy Geb decides to burrow his way underground again! SAM saw this coming & fires a Confuse Ray! SAM starts rofling as he launches a peculiar ray at Geb. Sadly, SAM's reaction timing was a little bit off, & as a result, his attack misses...Awww...Well, he did better than Machinery though, the slow mechanised robot launching a Mirror Shot a split second after SAM. Like SAM, Machinery's reaction timing was also off & it missed as well. Though, they fared better than Hyperion, who tried to use Meteor Mash, only for electricity to pulsate through its body, fully paralysing Hyperion AGAIN. When will Hyperion get a break...Nevertheless, Geb comes flying out of the sand, with loose rocks becoming excavated & strikes SAM! Its Super Effective! SAM's laugh was suddenly silenced as he crashed to the ground, before getting up, appearing to be on his last legs, scheming some way to cripple that darn mole.

Well, it's time for Action Two now, & Geb decides to go with a boring tactic, burrowing his way underground again...SAM's not falling for it this time, & he uses Will-O-Wisp, this time, aiming "down the hole"! SAM launches some wisps of fire, & with perfect reaction timing! SAM hits Geb & Geb is burned! SAM is delighted with the result & starts rofling at a rate of 200 laughs per second! Machinery now turns its attention to Hyperion & launches a Mirror Shot! Machinery takes aim at Hyperion & fires a blinding green beam of light at Hyperion! Its not very effective...Nevertheless, Hyperion finally get an attack through, using Iron Head on SAM! Hyperion's head turns into a silvery aura which it hits SAM with! This turns SAM's laughs, into ouches, then into swirly eyes..."SAM is unable to battle! Hyperion wins!" I call. "PCF is now eliminated from this battle." PCF is now forced to watch on as his teammate attempts to salvage a draw. Meanwhile, Geb comes out of digging again, & whacks Machinery. Its Super Effective! However, the burn lessens the damage that Machinery takes by a sizable amount, as we head into the final action...

Last action of this round, & Geb...Yeah, you know what he does, dig, dig, dig, dig, shovel, dig, dig, dig...Machinery takes advantage of this & goes to use Shift Gear! Machinery starts to spin fast, before going into Second Gear, raising its Attack by 1 Stage, & its Speed by 2 Stages! Hyperion catches Machinery doing this, & goes to deliver a Thunderpunch! One of Hyperion's 4 arms/legs/whatever is enveloped in electricity, before whacking Machinery with it! Machinery takes minor damage, before Geb whacks it again with Dig for SE Damage, ending the round.

Everyone's within 1 metre of each other at the end of the round, as Hyperion falls to the ground again after Magnet Rise wears off, & everyone's Perish Counter drops to 1. Machinery has to stall for 3 Actions to salvage a draw! Can he do it? Or will the gruesome twosome of Hyperion & Geb finish this group once & for all? What will happen? Well, let's wait & see while these three bozos deliver their actions...
