DQ Time: 2 Days
opponent may choose arena
NFE only please

I'll accept this, however, I need my Noface approved in the prize claiming thread or I won't have enough NFE's to play you. O wait I do actually but I would prefer to get this pokemon approved (don't want to use Weedle (lol)).

As for the Arena...

The Arena is an island of sand just off the coast of Undella. It's about 70 metres squared (aprox 84 square yards for Americans) surounding it the sea however it is fenced off so no Pokemon can swim in or out of an area of 70 metres (84 square yards)swimming straight off the island in a line. Their is solid ground not far under the ground so earthquake and magnitude will still do full damage. Despite that Dig is still fully functional. Finnally if a Flying Pokemon attempts to fly outside of the perimeter of the arena a Lanturn will shoot it down with a Thunder so powerful that it automatically knocks out all pokemon that attempt to get outside the net, so NO ESCAPING FROM THE ARENA AT ALL.

C'mon ref's, you know you want 6 RC.

We're coming to you live from Metal Bagon Island to bring you another exciting match-up here at the CAP ASB. Today we have Woodchuck facing off against Metal Bagon on his own island! Let's see how this home field advantage will affect the match.

Metal Bagon begins the match by sending out Darkbone, the Nohface while Woodchuck counters with Pwem the Riolu! Pwem begins the action by setting up a 15 HP substitute while Darkbone duplicates the action by generating his own 15 HP substitute.

The next bit of action is a little puzzling as Woodchuck orders Pwem to generate another substitute, but it fails as Pwem already has one up! This may be in response to Woodchuck being overly cautious of Darkbone's yawn, which Metal Bagon does indeed order his monster to do.

For the final turn in this round, both combatants decided to just have some more of the same as Pwem attempts yet another substitute and Darkbone unleashes a second dreadfully contagious yaaaawn...

Will Woodchuck and Pwem be able to rebound from all that expending energy? Will either myself or the audience falls asleep from this lack of action (yawn...) or these constant yawn attacks? Find out next time; same CAP time, same CAP channel!

And we're off to the second round in this battle by the beach! It looks like this should be a more action-packed round as both combatants look poised to strike while behind their substitute clones. Pwem begins the round by doing a ritualistic dance with some sort of energy swords, sharply boosting it's attack strength! Not to be outdone, Darkbone proceeds to unleash a devistating meteor mash/faint attack combo, that destroys Pwem's substitute!

Coming off that shocking display of power, one would think that a pokemon could be a little shaken or put off his game, but not this Riolu! Pwem calmly scans Darkbone's form with foresight while he is cooling down from unleashing that combination attack.

It seems as Darkbone is fully cooled down however, as he lunges towards Pwem with a speedy shadow sneak, hitting Pwem for the first damage points of the match! Not phased from this however, Pwem throws his leg high into the air with a devastating jump kick and lands a direct, critical-hit on Darkbone's substitute clone, shattering it instantly!

Posting to say that i'm doing the calcs now and i'll send them to DA but I forgot to subtract the HP for the substitutes so don't be alarmed; your HP totals are going to be decreased by 15. Don't know how this got passed both of us :/

i was happy with 100 HP so I didn't want to point it out :OP

EDIT: Could you please post how long the DQ is in the first thread, that would be a real help.

Round 3 is upon us and we're (slowly but) steadily making progress! Pwem begins the round by setting up a substitute of 15 HP and Nohface quickly follows suit with his own decoy.

Woodchuck then decides that Pwem needs to take a big of a break so he orders his Riolu to chill behind that substitute. Darkbone launches an offensive however and attacks again with a Meteor Mash/Faint Attack combination attack, obliterating the substitute.

Pwem then goes on the offensive again by launching a hi jump kick as Darkbone cools down from the combo, shattering THAT substitute. Looks like we're back where we started as we head for the 4th round of this close battle.

I'm not starting any matches while this is going on but if I go past the DQ egregiously feel free to look for a sub.)

Here we go with round 4 of this tightly-contested battle! The opponents seem to be relatively healthy, but are getting rather low on energy, so they must be careful of that.

Pwem begins the round by setting up a substitute (15 hp) clone to buy himself some time. Darkbone sees this as an opportunity to shore up its' defenses by hardening the iron existing within its body.

It seems like that increase in defense isn't going to last long however, as Pwem lets loose a horrifying screech, that nullifies Darkbone's previous defense boost! Not wanting to be the subject to any more of Pwem's direct attacks, Darkbone sets up his own substitute (15 hp).

It looks like Darkbone gets his speedy shoes on for this next action, as he jumps into his shadow and sneaks up to attack Pwem. Composing himself after that blow, Pwem's eyes glow a bright red as he has the foresight to identify Darkbone.

We're in the twilight of this first bit of action here down by the beach, and both pokemon look like they're about ready to faint! Woodchuck's turn to issue actions first, round 5 coming at you!

Foresight should fail because I'm behind a sub, other than that, this is a pretty good round of reffing for someone used to having their rounds checked by another, more experienced player.

i just realised that I selected switch=OK So I'll go ahead and switch out to...Smiley the Happy Dragon the Dragonair! If only this battle started after another of my battles finish, then I'd have a Dragonite with Wing Attack.

Here is a flow chart of what happens next, think of me as player 1.

I know how switches work 9.9
but apparently you don't :P

Deck Knight said:
A Switching phase may only be initiated by the trainer moving first that round. Instead of issuing commands, the trainer may instead initiate a switch and offer their opponent a chance to switch their Pokemon. If the opposing trainer accepts and switches their Pokemon, that trainer forfeits the advantage of moving second that round.
So, Metal Bagon, you can't switch, unless I'm very much mistaken and/or the Battle Tower thread is incorrect. Please change your actions accordingly.

Also, since I had assumed Foresight was in effect, may I change my Force Palm to a Blaze Kick please?
If it turns out Foresight actually works through a sub, then disregard this.

Yeah edit that into your original actions and I'll be OK with it.

Chill-Chill-Sub 20 HP
SUB: IF my subsitute from last round is still standing when I order my 20 HP Sub THEN use Will-O-Wisp.

At the time of posting Woodchuck's actions were chill-force palm-chill so he shouldn't make any changes to any other action apart from force palm to blaze kick.

I'm pretty sure I'm allowed to post here.

Foresight should fail because I'm behind a sub, other than that, this is a pretty good round of reffing for someone used to having their rounds checked by another, more experienced player.
