Introduction:

Welcome to the Intro Thread for Team Trials IV. This tournament tests the ability of three players to work as a team, each playing a different metagame. Each team will be matched up against another team, and whichever team gets two of the three wins will advance!

Signing Up:

There are two ways to join this tournament. The first is to have all three members of a team post, confirming they are a part of the team. The other is to sign up as a free agent for one or more tier. If a team only consists of two players, they may call on you as a free agent to join up with them. If there are still open spots for teams at the end of the sign ups, I will use free agents to make the last teams.

If there are any complications in a team signing up due to one member being out of town, feel free to pm me on the forums or preferably catch me on IRC. I'm usually lenient with things like that.

Rules:

Tournament Rules

Team Trials Rules:
  • If a team wants to switch around the tiers each player plays, have one of the players send me a pm saying who will be playing what. These changes will take affect the round after whichever one is currently posted. If there is a disagreement about the new lineup, I will revert to what was posted here.
  • Each team will be allowed one substitute throughout the entire tournament.
  • Every team needs a name, right?
  • And most importantly, if you were part of another team which was eliminated, regardless of if you played or not, you can't sub in for another team.
