Hmm. Bide would certainly be an interesting option here.
I could unleash a Heat Wave+Overheat combination to try and scorch the mud, preventing annoying bonuses to sandstorm, and dealing some damage in the process... Heat Wave+Overheat: Scorch the Walls in a massive, sun boosted blast of heat to hopefully make the mud unusable (has the effects of just a sandstorm). As this is a multi-target attack, it should spread out a bit and hit most of the arena, and probably our opponent too. After that, cooldown and disable Earthquake action three. Scorched Earth~Cooldown~Disable (Earthquake)

Round 6 START
Even though Sunshine can hardly touch the camel Random still chooses to switch him out. Back comes Megawhal the incomprehensible (aka some CAPs are stupid). Sunshine, despite being faster seems to be charging up a very big attack. This allows Megawhal to rock the place with another Earthquake that Sunshine does not enjoy, but she is able to respond with something that may just swing future momentum to her team. By combining two powerful and far reaching fire attacks in Overheat and Heat Wave she Scorches all the Earth in the room and hardens up the would be mud! Looks like there won't be any more mudstorms around there parts! I do have a feeling that some water might be able to loosen up the mud again though. The big combo also serverely reduced Sunshine's main attacking stat, but it doesn't seem it will matter. Megawhal unleashes the absolute most powerful Magnitude possible and knocks her out while she is still recovering from the combination. 2-0 Random!

Alright, until we get an SotG to resolve Dig, I'll just have to live (and die) with it.
Pinsir, come out. X-Scissor~Bug Bite~X-Scissor If Dig or Bounce, use Revenge. The funniest thing is, his own arena blocks most water attacks.

Not that the mudstorm was making an impact anyway...Rediamond's had his time in the sun, now it's time to say good-bye to all that.
"Alrightio Megawhal. Time to turn back the clock." Bubblebeam + Rapid Spin Combo (Spin yourself & fire bubbles from your mouth in every direction in an attempt create mud in the arena...Again...) > U-Turn, switch in Stortamus The funniest thing is that Bubblebeam doesn't even need a water source, lol.

Round 7 START
We're back where we started with in this one, with Vice taking on the collossus known as Megawhal. Unfortunately for the bug it is left releasing an empty Bide from last time it was in these parts and the first action is wasted. Megawhal pounces on the opportunity and breaks into an unfathomably Rapid Spin for its size. All of a sudden it shoots a Bubblebeam from its mouth and the walls all around the Terra Cage are once again muddy as all get out. I've said it before and I will say it again, this thing is the epitome of everything bad about CAPs... Action 2 is Vice's turn to pounce while Megawhal is useless and it does so with a super effective Bug Bite. Action 3 is bug attacks all around, with Vice's powerful X-Scissor answered by the tricky U-Turn from Megawhal. Looks like the Hippo is on its way out so yay for more Mudstorm.

I forfeit
I'm not sure that Bide carries after being withdrawn, taking 12 HP a round in residual and having a 60-something percent chance of hitting Gliscor is fucking retarded, and this is the textbook example of why Fly is broken, as if you don't devote a sub you will get fucked over. Screw counters, I am not finishing this battle. And for the record, this is the only time I have forfeited.

Alright, if that's what we're doing then so be it.
Rediamond gets nothing for forfeiting (I call it akin to a DQ) IAR gets 4 CC. Capers, Tormeldon and Megawhal all get 3 MC, with Tormeldon and Megawhal additionally getting 1 KO each. I get 4 UC for reffing this much.

I have nothing to say. I could say a lot, but I'd rather not.
Thanks for reffing (And putting up with this) deadfox, much appreciated. Just remember to change the thread's prefix to completed. |
