Big thanks to Antar and Innocent Criminal for stats! Interestingly enough, Tyranitar and Excadrill have managed to remain in the top 20 (though their usage is lower in our "1337" stats, which actually uses 1200 as a cutoff due to Uber's smaller playerbase) of usage despite the length of time that has passed since Drill's ban in OU. Deoxys-A has also jumped in usage, definitely due to our CCAT project. Another intriguing little tidbit is that Dialga is nearly used the same amount as Kyogre at above 1200 on the ladder. Will the king of Ubers finally be dethroned?

DIALGA FOR UBER KING! WE HATE YOU KYOGRE (well we want a different monarch but meh)!
In order to recieve a percent boost you need the CCAT. Henceforth we need a CCAT team without Kyogre and with Dialga anyone second this idea? Also lol more Agility, taunt, Toxic, Deo-D testers.

Sun hurts Ferro a lot, and ferro is becoming a normality on ubers teams. Only thing that sun has going for it is specs reshiram, tbh.
Zekrom dropping annoys me, it's one of the best physical attackers in ubers, tbh

It's pretty neat to see Kyogre's usage rivaled for once. Giratina's usage is a lot higher than expected, although understandable. Arceus Grass and Manaphy should be seeing more usage given how effective they are.

I just went over Ubers Movesets, and I was very glad to see that our own CCAT Deoxys-A is actually listed there! CCATs apparently have a direct impact on the metagame, which is really awesome.

Truth be told, Dialga will overtake Kyogre...Eventually...
Anywho...Deoxys-A moves up 13 spots in Uber usage, which is interesting. But Gastrodon...43 spots!? LMAO. My only question is that will there be a better lead than Kyogre or Groudon?

Since when was base 115 SpA or Psychic STAB good ...
I think Jynx simply doesn't deserve serious use in Ubers. Dry Skin is great, but although you switch into Kyogre you now get demolished by Groudon. Base 95 SpD is downright mediocre, lots of Pokemon have Calm Mind, etc. It also dies to Kyogre's Thunder without defensive investment (doesn't need Specs to 2HKO), it dies to almost any physical move, and it's an Ice-type that's weak to SR. Curiously you didn't mention Jynx's more significant qualities: it has decent speed (base 95 is not good elsewhere but it's OK in Ubers), it gets Lovely Kiss, and it gets Nasty Plot.

face it, there are very few serious ubers players, I get shit like that almost every battle.
I've seen that lv 1 aron thing, for example, ect. My personal favorite is the blast burn charizard partnered up with Kyogre that noobs use. What a great offensive core. Anyway, I can't really see Dialga passing up Kyogre, Kyogre has the Pokemon equivalent of a nuke in the form of specs water spout (and to a lesser extent Scarf). Dialga's good and all, but Kyogre is much more of an offensive force than it. Although the support set seems to be pretty good though

Dry Skin is Jynx's niche over Darkrai and I'm not only talking about the 'Water immune' part. The HP recovery is great, it negates the Life Orb recoil, it allows Jynx to spam Substitute with little consequence, it negates Stealth Rock damage rather quickly. Also the Sun inducer of Ubers is slower than Jynx and weak to his STAB, so keeping Dry Skin active is not so hard Jynx is a check to choiced Kyogre, not a full counter like Gastrodon is, that part is obvious. But I think it's also obvious that with a 115 base special attack, boosting moves and a sleep move, Jynx is much more of a threat than Gastrodon ever will be. In your typical game, Gastrodon will switch into Kyogre and then Scald the Ferrothorn switch, even if that 30% accurate Will O Wisp connects Gastrodon is still forced out. Jynx, on the other hand, can OHKO Ferrothorn with a +2 Life Orb Focus Blast or use Substitute when it tries to TWave / Leech Seed and 2HKO it with boosted Ice Beam. Gastrodon also is pretty much dead weight against teams that lack Kyogre, while Jynx can always use his base 95 speed and Lovely Kiss to help the team, or just abuse stuff like Tentacruel to start setting up with Drizzle support from your own Kyogre. I am not implying that Jynx is better than Darkrai or Gastrodon, but she certainly isn't ouclassed by those two, and if you want a Pokemon that checks Kyogre while not giving one million free Spikes to Ferrothorn, you should test the set. |

^That's curious tbh, although when I faced Jynx it typically died horribly without achieving anything but it sounds like it can be useful ... somewhat ...
The No Arceus challenge is so going to bias next month's Ubers stats against Arceus lol, although imo it's not THAT hard to build a working team without Arceus. Getting up the ladder though would require more player skill than Arceus. Also many of the no Arceus teams I've seen seem to be rain, which means Kygore is going to pull an even bigger lead out of the hat next month @_@ PS: Kyogre for King!

Hm, I went and tested Jynx and I personally really like it. Although, instead of Life Orb, I've opted to use Leftovers instead of Life Orb simply because the extra recovery is so damn awesome. Once you switch into Water Spout or Surf from ScarfOgre (which is everywhere), you can just set up a Sub, and depending on what switches in, you could probably beat it, provided it stays raining. You get 18.75% recovery per turn, so you can make eight Subs before you can't make anymore (if you switch into SR, 12 if you don't), which means you can stall out Gyro Ball from Ferrothorn. Alternatively, you can just Lovely Kiss their switch-in, Nasty Plot up and then just Ice Beam everything. The Uber tier is actually surprisingly weak to Ice.
