2nd Level of "Chat Silenced"

The spam is getting really rediculous lately, so I thought I might suggest a second type of chat silence...

With this new chat silence, players with a certain rank and a certain amout of games played (you decide) would still be able to talk.

Just a thought I had.

The primary offender would most likely bypass the script anyways.

Not sure how that could be if it was done with server side checks.

Rank/Games played is stored on the server.

i'm pretty sure nysyr is talking about the equivalent of channel mode +m on irc, which actually would solve a spam problem.

skarmpiss is able to bypass scripts. We tried something similar to this before, but it failed.
