Gooooooooooooood evening, ladies and gentlemen! It's another lovely night here at the ASB arena, and tonight's warriors are Typon77 with a nasty little Colosshale named Crush, and Endquote with his Togepi, Joy!

Crush opens the round with by saying things to Joy that my colleague Rico translates as some very disparaging things about her mother. Suffice to say, his Taunting sends the little Togepi into a frenzy. Despite being too enraged to use any effect moves, she's still able to beat the crap out of Typon's Colosshale by manipulating some of that fake seaweed with Grass Knot.

That said, Joy seems to want to beat the crap out of Crush with her bare...uh, stubs, and rushes him to attempt an attack...only to get smacked in the face with a Sucker Punch. The sub says to use an effect move, but Joy is too angry to care, and only succeeds in Struggling doing nothing. The next action is a repeat, except Joy Struggles like a toddler throwing a tantrum.

Crush holds the advantage in health, but Joy does have some nasty moves in her arsenal...which trait will take the crown? Find out after the break!

Well that went better than planned. However, one good round still probably wont win me this game. I wish I had bought Dig..

If Grass Knot is used, then use Fake Out, but only once, and push actions back.

I think the first Taunted action should have simply failed, not caused Struggle.
Also, for Togepi's final HP, 90-2(12.4)=65, not 57.
Finally, I think I'm only taunted for 3 actions.

We're back, folks! Crush starts the round off in an attempt to buy some time, Faking Joy Out and barring her from pulling a Grass Knot. Instead, the Togepi charges her lazer as Crush rams the walls of the moat hard enough to cause an Earthquake! Joy falls over from the attack, but her duty is complete - a sparkle appears in the sky...and then the water around Typon's Colosshale is vaporized by a Solarbeam. Crush tries to do some hit-and-run with a U-Turn, but on his escape he once again is caught in the throes of Joy's Grass Knot.

My god, this prose is awful. So is Typon's current standing in the battle. Will the outcome be decided within the next round?
