Looks like it's Gerard's first time at the Timeless Tower... let's all be nice and hospitable for our guest.

TIMELESS TOWER Timeless Tower is an unfathomably large structure seated on an impregnable cliffside. The tower's main spire looms over its entrance hundreds of feet into the air. Bridges extend from the main tower to three separate spires, each on an island pillar of immense density. The ocean roars violently below, beckoning you to stay away. The bridge to the east leads to a tower frozen over in a massive pillar of ice. The sunlight glistens against its reflective surface, yet no melt can be shown. You look cold just staring at it. The bridge to the west leads to a craggy pillar that seems to be etched from the very earth itself, impossibly dense and immovable. A third tower can be seen behind the structure on your map, but it is eclipsed by the sheer enormity of the main spire. It is made of the sturdiest looking metal you have ever seen, an unnaturally purely refined solidity that shares the brilliant sheen of the icy tower and the sheer density of the crag. As you go up to the entrance, the drawbridge on the main gate opens and falls with a loud crash onto the only access to the mainland. On either side of the bridge are statues of Golurk holding up massive spears. As you enter the main atrium, a massive statue of Golem rolled up into a ball takes the centre of the arena. You look around the room and see exits your east and west going to the towers, stairs built into the floor going down presumably to the tower behind the main spire, and a massive door with 3 slots in the gate. Depictions of the gate are on the left and right, and show 3 stones being placed in the gate. Both mosaics are completely sand-coloured except for the stones. One is an azure blue, one is a dull brown, and the other a shimmering silver. You attempt to push the gate, but it is so massively heavy you feel tired just pushing on it. It will not budge. What could this all mean? And where do you go from here? Your Options are as follows... Enter Ice Spire Enter Rock Crag Enter Iron Dungeon Choose wisely, for your entire journey rests on this decision.

Ice Spire - Chilling Chamber So, you decide that the best course of action to take is to head towards the frozen zone in the east, & knowing this would be a cold encounter, you move on into the Ice Spire. So, you go through the path & you instantly start to feel cold, & you feel as if you want to blitz through this quickly. Going through the endless staircases & cold, slippery hallways, you eventually arrive at a chamber of a reasonable size. You make a temperature check, about -5 Degrees Celsius (~23 Degrees Farenheit). This, you hope is as cold as it gets. However, not as soon as you focus back onto the task at hand, you notice 2 Pokemon in the distance: A Snorunt & a Vanillite. You try to sneak past without being noticed, but you make a wrong step & slip over the ice, catching the attention of the two Lackeys, who rush over & confront you, thinking you were an intruder. They don't look friendly...So you send in your three Pokemon, ready to fight the two. It's time to duel, it seems...
Battle Begin!

Snorunt: Hail > Blizzard IF Kirot uses (Damaging Steel Type Move) on you at any point of the round, THEN change your course of action to Bide > Hold Vanillite: Sheer Cold + Blizzard combo > Blizzard IF Kirot uses (Damaging Steel Type Move) on Snorunt at any point of the round, THEN change your course of action to Hail > Blizzard

![]() "I hate you a little bit IAR, you now has crushed my dreams of getting Snorunt, really, we get a female Snorunt and you make me kill him, well other time will be. Now we need to focus in getting rid of that bide before it can do anything bad to us (if that thig goes off we're dead), so fast and painless (at least for us) it is. Focus all in that upside cone and we won't have to worry a lot more, according to my calcs we should do exactly 93 damage, which mean even with Ice body he's dead, with my luck Iron head it the best option Kirot, and Rock slide (Ice slide?) will be the best thing for you to also do some extra damage to the second ice cream (not that we hve to worry about the Blizzards), Wilde smash Snorunt hard, and then make Vanillite as useful as he normally is, Kurt will be starting things hot for us, unless a miss we should be doing fine... Wilde: Close Combat (Snorunt) ~ Encore (Vanillite) Kirot: Iron Head (Snorunt) ~ Rock Slide Kurt: Flametrower (Snorunt) ~ Fire Blast (Vanillite) *If Rock Slide Misses Snorunt A2 then use Fire Blast against her instead |

Ice Spire - Chilling Chamber Lackeys...Gotta love them, how hard they try & you suddenly turn it into a failure...At any rate, all you take is Hail Damage & you kill off the Snorunt, other than that, issue your actions.

Ice Spire - Chilling Chamber Vanillite had no chance...All he could do was watch on as you proceeded to slaughter him...Well, with that out of the way, you end up deciding to move on, hoping this is the coldest it will ever get in this spire...

At this point, if you want to rearrange items, or use items, now's your chance. Otherwise, you can simply choose to cheer. Do this, & the next RP will be up shortly. |

Ice Spire - Glacial Cavern Going through the endless hallways, you lose your footing & randomly slip across the cold Ice & fall down what seemed to be a trap door. As you hit the deck face-first, you get up & you gaze in awe at what you see. This Gigantic cavern stretches on seemingly forever, but it appears it only has one denizen: a Mamoswine. It isn't happy you entered its terrirory, and quickly seals you under an avalanche. Only one of your Pokemon will be able to give chance...So who do you send into battle?

Ice Spire - Glacial Cavern Well, a damage race ensues, & it seems that Kurt has the higher damage output. That, & a lucky A3 Scald Burn is going to help you even further! Issue your actions.

Apologies for the delay, but posting to say that this is a placeholder. I've been terribly busy of late, but I'll have the next update for certain within the next 24 hours, time starting as of of this post. Thank you for your patience, & apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Within 24 hours, like I said...
GERARD
Ice Spire - Glacial Cavern While Kurt takes the easy way out & sets up for future rounds, Mamoswine continues to pound away at Kurt & deals a fair bit of damage, although it was alleviated by your choice to go for recovery actions. Speaking of which, issue your actions!

Despite the new rounding rules, for consistency's sake, I'll keep to the old rounding system for the remainder of this dungeon.
GERARD
Ice Spire - Glacial Cavern As you continue to rest up, Mamoswine continues to pound away, dealing a lot of damage to you, & leaving Kurt a little worse for wear! Issue your actions.

Ice Spire - Cold Storage Another endless set of stairs & annoying climbs await you as you left the previous chamber. The entire place is starting to feel even colder than before, & the ice becoming slipperier & more impregnable than before, looks like you're in this for the long run... As you continue in this frigid palace, you come upon a blocks of solid ice, within which you find two item containers. Elated at the find, you send out your Pokemon to examine it. You feel like maybe you have a tool on one of your Pokemon to break it or thaw the ice. Do you pursue this at the risk of being attacked by a wild Pokemon as you do so? So, what shall you do? a) Thaw / Break the ice! [REQUIRES A FIRE-TYPE MOVE OR A MOVE SUPER EFFECTIVE AGAINST THE ICE-TYPE]. b) Ignore this and continue before you draw attention from the wildlife.

Ice Spire - Cold Storage Showing no interest in the Ice, you decide that it's not worth you or your Pokemons' time and effort to get through the ice. You would've likely been attacked by something terrible anyway had you spent the time here. Hurriedly, you move your Pokemon on their way with you and travel into the next chamber.

Ice Spire - Frozen Hall As you slip & slide your way through the hallways & staircases, you notice, this is not going to get any warmer, this is going to get colder & colder. Nevertheless, eventually you find yourself in a room called The Frozen Hall. The Frozen Hall is a hollowed out room shaped like a sphere. Gigantic icicles stretch from the floor to the ceiling, up about 8 metres. A frozen draft blows through the room, and as you continue through the snow gets stronger. You get the distinct feeling of being watched. Buried under the snow is a glimmering object that could be valuable. This part of the ice also seems to have some obsidian shards sticking out nearby, an odd feature for such a place, but who knows who has traversed the area? Do you place your hand in the snow? What will you do? a) Ignore the item. b) Grab the item. |
