Perfect? Not really. His attack is subpar and Swords Dance isn't enough to fix it making physical sets not as viable as special ones, plus he's really, REALLY lacking in coverage moves.

I knew there would be more new formes. I said it way back in this huge thread. Look at platinum, and now they're releasing two games...makes sense.

On another note. Why the heck is there a flying boat in the new image? What could that possibly be in the story? Only thing I could think of right now is to avoid the ice'ing of the region.

I've a strong hunch that flying boat is the same one docked in the harbor in the anime-like trailer, which would make it Neo Team Plasma's. Betcha they're pulling a Bowser Koopa and transporting Peaches-- 'er, stolen Pokémon with it. :P

I know Thundurus' is a bit of a stretch but...I can't be the only one seeing this.

Something about the Keldeo form news just erks me. Maybe I'm just tired of alternate forms at this point but it's more that the timing is extremely odd. With the movie coming out, it seems really late to be announcing alternate forms for a movie Pokemon. At this point, the game is finished and is likely being manufactured as I write this and will ship to stores in a little over a week so a new Keldeo form should have came up at some point way earlier than this other than one line in CoroCoro mentioning it's special power.

I'm not saying I don't believe it, but the timing just seems really off.

Honestly I expect it to just be Keldeo surrounded by the white light to indicate him using Secret Sword. It might not even be in the actual game and solely be a movie thing.

Ideally we'll know within the next 4 days.

Well actually, if we're comparing it to Shaymin, it actually falls into place. Shaymin's sky forme was revealed early June while the 11th movie was released on July 19th, pretty much a month between the two. If Coro Coro does reveal Keldeo's new forme, it's pretty much a month before the 15th movie. It may seem early due to BW2 being released much earlier than Platinum.

edit: Thundurus is a bit of a stretch and it's not like birds and cats/dogs aren't a common thing in pokemon. :P

I'm really curious as to what they are going to do with this forme stat-wise. Considering the fact that all the "musketeers" have the same base HP and Speed, and all specialize in one of the remaining stats (Cobalion in defense, Terrakion in attack, Virizion is Sp. Defense, and Keldeo in Sp. Attack), it raises the question as to what this forme will do with it's stats. There isn't any other stats left to "specialize" in. (Unless they increase/decrease Speed and HP.)

I had the same thought. Also, I don't think it's been said here, so Keldeo's new forme is called its 'Resolution Forme', if anyone cares.

The rumor on pokejungle states that its merely cosmetic. Which really is the only way I'd want them to go, keldeo is too well designed stats wise to change anything; plus making him more mature looking would be quite cool, make him really a part of the musketeer family. Though a purely cosmetic forme change is a little unneeded :)

I mean I guess they're not needed but...so what? It is still neat to see different takes on older Pokemon, see how stats re-align, and it's not like the older forms aren't still useful (... debatable, I'm not sure anyone really uses normal Rotom and who knows how Kyurem will pan out)

Im actually liking how they give the legends new forme. It's like adding new pokemon mid-game.

It will be pointless if Resolution Forme merely a cosmetic change. I think they might move all its Attack to SpA and Speed for lulz.

They never changed it; it's always been 2 straight turns of sleep. The only circumstance under which a Resting Pokémon could sleep for more than 2 turns is if it were to switch out then back in, which resets the sleep counter as of this generation.

On another note: I'm totally diggin' Keldeo's new multicolored headgear. I wonder if it'll gain "boots" like the other Musketeers have? :D
