Hello everyone, welcome to the newest addition to Smogon's podcast circuit, the Quackcast! The Quackcast aims to cover everything relating to Nintendo and The Pokemon Company International's official competitive Pokemon tournament series, the Video Game Championships. Join us each month as we update you on our thoughts, opinions, and news surrounding the VGC metagame, events, and community.

As we play through the Global Battle Union 2012 International Challenge, Japan helps confirm that there are indeed more than 10 species of Pokemon in existence.

Great job overall, you guys kept the conversation going at all times and there were no awkward moments of silence. I love Scott. Huy sucks.

Really cool podcast, love how it's nice and lighthearted instead of /completely/ serious. Great fun and hilarious too :D

This was a perfect balance between informative and entertaining I'll keep listening as long as the quality stays this high.

I expected Firestorm to sound more Canadian. I don't recall a single "eh." Just saying....

Good stuff. I think Lightningrod Zapdos shouldn't be too bad as it probably will lose Tailwind and Heat Wave. However, it's a different story if it gets those back in B2W2, and is allowed into the tourney with it.
