Alright, so I'm here at the famous Stonehenge somewhere in England. At least, I think this is England...

Well, whatever the case, I'm here to ref a match between Dogfish and Temperantia and their grudgematch.

Arena: Stonehenge. This mystical set of ruins mimics the ASB arena, with a stream running to the south, and rocks here and there in the grass. A mystical aura surrounds this place, placing all Pokémon under the effect of a constant Focus Energy.

Abilities:

Abilities:
Run Away: (Innate) This Pokemon is quick on its feet and will evade any field traps and hazards that would harm it (Spikes, Stealth Rock, Toxic Spikes) in an arena. A Pokemon can still absorb Toxic Spikes if it has Run Away and is Poison-typed. Run Away does not allow the Pokemon to switch out of trapping moves or abilities, however it can escape other situational trapping strategies in battle.
Klutz: (Can be disabled) The Pokemon moves in a rare style of battling that uses an unpredictable, clumsy looking manner. The accuracy of its attacks are increased by 10% (flat). While engaging in this style it cannot use a hold item, though an item is necessary to pull it off.

Pick Up: (Innate) This Pokemon has a natural habit of collecting items. Whenever a hold item (its own or an opponents) is used or knocked onto the ground with a move like Knock Off, this Pokemon will immediately pick up that item without using an action. It can also grab dropped or naturally occuring hold items in arenas.
Quick Feet: (Innate) This Pokemon feels a sense of anxiety when afflicted with a status condition and its speed increases by 50% (x1.5). Although it can still be fully paralyzed, it will not suffer the Speed drop.

Thick Fat: (Innate) This Pokemon has a great deal of extra fat or muscle that increases its resistance to extreme heat or extreme cold, reducing the type effectiveness of Fire- and Ice-typed attacks to the next level of resistance (2x weak becomes neutral, neutral becomes resistance, etc.)
Gluttony (DW): (Innate) This Pokemon devours healing and stat increasing berries at 50% health (flat) instead of 25% health (flat).

Montblanc, the cute teddy bear, starts spewing out insults at his foe to start off the round. Surprised by this, the Tough rock known simply as Ore nevertheless still is a little insulted; some of those words struck sore places in his faint memories of home. Angry, but not furious as he would have been if the insults had come from someone else, he begins to move around quickly and strike his body against some of the stonehenge rocks, polishing his body in the process. But suddenly, as neither the audiance nor the little bear expected, Ore knocks off part of his body and throws it at Montblanc. It lands a solid hit, prompting the bear to attack the rock in closer combat, as he does not operate well in ranged attacks. After recovering from this hit, Ore attempts to blast a stream of rocks at him in revenge. But the running at the start of the round made Ore tired, so his rocks miss entirely. Taking advantage of this opportunity, Montblanc attacks one more in close combat. Ore seems to hurt more than he should, but the expert belt tied around the bear's waist shows him to be a master of Utgi, the martial art specializing in taking advantage of your opponant's weaknesses.

Montblanc is calmer now than he was at the beginning of the match. Perhaps this was his first true battle, and only now has begun to understand how real battles work when there if something at stake. Whatever the reason, when Ore rushes at him again and scrapes a razor-sharp rock on him, he only concentrates on a dark brown aura wreathing around him. Right as Ore lifts up his head to perform the final blow, all the energy comes out of Montblanc's aura and knocks Ore spinning across the grass and into the small stream. Way of that Aura, Ore begins to blast a stream if rocks at Montblanc. Just as before, Montblanc makes no movement, but as the first stone touches his stomach, a second, vastly different aura appears and deflects the missiles into the nearby trees. Angry that he could not damage the frail-looking bear, and to angry to remember what happened only seconds before, Ore attacks Montblanc in a blind fury, while all the time a certain aura absorbs the bulk of the attack. This time when the aura is unleashed, Ore is thrown into the sky, and when he comes down, he is clearly knocked out. Temperantia has won, and teddy bears will never be underestimated again.
