It's Hammer Time!

Rules:
-4v4 Doubles -ASB Arena -All Abilities -No Items -5 recovers/5 chills -2 Substitutions -2 Day DQ for battlers -2/3 Day DQ for refs -Self-KO clause; in the event of a double KO to end the match, the Pokemon that KOed itself through whatever means (self-KOing move, energy exhaustion, etc) loses. waterwarrior's Star Gazer-er-ers:
Houdin the Alakazam
Fluttershy the Whimsicott
Objection's Cruel Brits:
Frollo the Medicham
Pete the Hariyama
Round 5 Begin! Objection, suddenly on the losing end of the match, summons forth Frollo (yay more Hunchback jokes) and Pete to do his bidding. waterwarrior does a celebratory dance at this sudden twist of fate, but Objection merely smirks and consults his Pocket Dogfish44 (PDF): OBJECTION (entering match data on keypad): "I'm losing. Tell me how to fix that." PDF (mechanically, with the cold menace of the real Dogfish44 planning TLR Guardian actions): "Processing...processing...conclusion reached. Course of action: Spam Focus Punch combos." OBJECTION (taken aback): "Umm...if you say so." Taking the advice of the PDF, Objection commands Pete to start focusing his energy into his fist. Frollo, sensing that his partner may need some help on this, runs quickly up to Fluttershy and slaps her- at least, that's what it looked like. Fluttershy doesn't seem bruised or anything, but it looks like Fluttershy's flinching has left her a little too shaken to move! Frollo, smiling slightly at a job well-done, turns to Pete and motions for him to unleash his attack. Walking slowly up to Houdin with some sort of dark energy in his fist, Pete looks incredibly menacing. Houdin braces himself for a counterattack, leading to some mindgames as to when who will strike. In the end, Pete plays a successful feint that leads Houdin to counter...nothing! Pete then finishes off the mustachioed psychic with a dark fist to the face, perfectly synchronized with the chorus of one of Justin Timburrlake's greatest hits: "Focus Back." As waterwarrior returns his fallen 'mons, his confidence looks bruised; his Whimsicott is now left to fight 1-on-2 for two actions! It's Frollo's turn to charge now, and his fists quickly begin to glow with energy. Fluttershy whips up a tremendous windstorm and sends it whirling at Pete, but the intense sunlight evaporates just enough of the water that the hurricane's trajectory shifts far enough right that Pete emerges unharmed. It's a good thing, too; he was still cooling down from that musical combo he used on Action 1. Frollo now converts the energy in his fist into a...houseplant? I don't even see how that's possible, but GameFreak (as well as Deck Knight) has never been one to abide by physics. (In fact, it's rumored that gravity came to exist when Deck concluded that the previous standard of perpetual straight-line motion was broken, causing him to banish it to the Uber Tire and institute an Orbital Motion Clause on the Standard OUniverse.) (On a related note, it's also rumored that Quasimodo was secretly Deck Knight using a disguise to win a bet against MK_Ultra that Deck could get a cameo in a Disney movie without anyone noticing. Deck reportedly won.) Frollo smashes the houseplant against Fluttershy's head, resulting in...a burst of fire that burns Fluttershy? Someone please explain to me how this makes any sense. ANY sense. At all. Pete gathers his focus again, and the aura on his fist looks quite similar to the one Frollo just had. While Frollo takes a breather, Fluttershy makes a rather pitiful attempt to do some damage by nailing Frollo with a smoky ball of dusk. Pete ends the round by breaking another houseplant over Fluttershy's head, leaving him incredibly low on health. Fortunately (I guess) for waterwarrior, the Sun finally decides to retreat behind some clouds, meaning Kippy's Water attacks won't be doing crap damage like they might have otherwise. With this sudden reversal of fortune leaving waterwarrior light-years behind End Round 5 waterwarrior's Star Gazer-er-ers:
Houdin the Alakazam
Fluttershy the Whimsicott
Objection's Cruel Brits:
Frollo the Medicham
Pete the Hariyama
Just the Facts
waterwarrior automatically sends out Kippy, so you're up, Objection!

![]() Frollo: Feint (Fluttershy) - Mind Reader (Kippy) - Combo: Hi Jump Kick + Hi Jump Kick (Kippy) If Kippy uses a protective/evasive move on action 2 or action 3 and did not use a protective/evasive move on the previous action, change that action to Chill and push actions back. If your speed is less than Kippy's speed at the end of action 2 and the above substitution does not activate at all, replace the Hi Jump Kick combo with Focus Punch (Kippy). Pete: Cooldown - Vital Throw (Kippy) - Helping Hand (Frollo) If Kippy uses a protective/evasive move on action 2 or action 3 and did not use a protective/evasive move on the previous action, change that action to Chill and push actions back. If Frollo's speed is less than Kippy's speed at the end of action 2 and the above substitution does not activate at all, replace Helping Hand with Fake Out (Kippy).

waterwarrior has passed deadline. One of his teammates (typon77 or MrL [yeah, right]) needs to post in his stead within three days, or the match will end by player DQ. (Please don't let this happen ;_;)

No point in stalling out the inevitable. Besides, I need to get this off my chest.
Swampert: Waterfall (Frollo) -> Earthquake -> Waterfall (Frollo) Whimsicott: Chill softly until death

Kippy the Swampert
Fluttershy the Whimsicott
Objection's Cruel Brits:
Frollo the Medicham
Pete the Hariyama
Round 6 Begin! Kippy enters the battlefield looking a little less than enthusiastic about the battle to come. He turns vacantly to Fluttershy, who gives him a look of utter despair and hunger (remember that this battle started 10 years ago; wouldn't YOU be hungry?). Kippy has no response to this except to look behind him and notice someone whispering orders into waterwarrior's unhearing ears. Fluttershy turns grimly forward as Frollo makes a series of completely unnecessary ducks, dodges, false hits, and whooping noises while making his way across the field. Fluttershy doesn't even attempt to dodge the inevitable blow; in fact, she welcomes the opportunity to head back to a Pokemon Center. Frollo indeed delivers the death blow, sending Fluttershy toppling backwards with a direct hit to the abdomen. Kippy, somewhat angered at the loss of his teammate, hurls Angel Falls at Frollo, dealing more damage than he ever did to Oogie Boogie. Pete takes a breather, still recuperating from the intense Ficus Punch he used last round. The crowd begins to cheer a little louder, knowing that the end of the match is about to come and they can finally leave. Frollo stares intently at Kippy, analyzing his behavioral and action patterns, then combining this with his prior knowledge of Kippy's behavior to conclude exactly what Kippy will being doing next action. Kippy, not surprisingly, gives Frollo's apparent mind reading no heed and just smashes the crap out of the arena floor. Frollo and Pete recoil at the shock of 1.21 gigawatts of power, although neither has suffered any lasting injuries. Pete then rushes over and throws Kippy as hard as if his life depends on it. It seems as if Pete thought it vital to get that throw in, despite the fact that it really didn't do a whole lot to Kippy. Now Pete returns to his side of the arena and sings his very own rousing version of the "Cha Cha Slide," which looks a little something like this: This version of a classic party song gets the crowd pumping, and their support encourages Frollo to do better with his next attack, which he seems to be concentrating on quite intently. Kippy, having resigned himself to his fate, gives Angel Falls one last toss, causing the massive wall of water to shatter into exactly 458,361,907.2 pieces. The Venezuelans, who had previously been neutral (they were excited to see a piece of their land featured at such a high-profile event), suddenly throw their support to Frollo and begin clapping up a storm. Frollo, with a flourish, leaps so insanely high into the air that he misses the International Space Station by a mere 20 metres (more Britannia stuff here, in their honour) on his ascent and an even closer 15 metres on his descent. Some twenty solar minutes later, Frollo is finally visible again from the press box. With an earsplitting screech caused by his incredibly fast falling, Frollo's knee collides critically with Kippy's back (Frollo totally saw this coming, js), knocking the wind out of him and leaving him totally fainted on the ground. With both Frollo and Pete greatly weakened from their efforts, Objection is glad that this match is finally done. The two competitors shake hands, glad that this match was so intense. The scoreboard flashes some poorly-animated fireworks and displays a message that is music to the Brits' ears: Objection has won! All praise to the Onion_Jack! End Round 6 waterwarrior's Star Gazer-er-ers:
Kippy the Swampert
Fluttershy the Whimsicott
Objection's Cruel Brits:
Frollo the Medicham
Pete the Hariyama
Just the Facts
