The little lady opens up with a Shuckle named Caliborn, while Mr. Barto starts off with a-yeah, that's definitely Mozart-a shiny Poliwag named Froggy. Shuckles being slow as all hell, Froggy gets the first move, performing a graceful Rain Dance that brings on a bit of a drizzle. Caliborn retaliates by blasting sand from his shell, kind of like a Hippowdon conjures a Sandstorm. This kinda ruins Froggy's advantage, but nonetheless spews a Bubblebeam at the Shuckle that...barely does anything, actually. Meanwhile, Caliborn takes advantage of all the Sand being thrown around and enTombs his nemesis in a dusty vortex! Froggy tries to break free by rushing him with enough speed to climb a Waterfall, but only bounces off the durable bug, who repays him with Toxic sludge to his face!

Froggy may have the type advantage, but he's getting flat-out walled by Caliborn. Can Mr. Barto find a way around this? Find out after these mes...Sorry, old habit.

In any case, the spiral on the Poliwag's belly begins to spin, Hypnotizing Caliborn into a deep sleep and negating Sand Tomb. With the hardy bug asleep, Froggy takes a moment to Refresh himself, sloughing off all that poison!

For the most part, Barto (or whatever that thing that took his place is) has neutralized Mado's strategy to slowly whittle away Froggy's health, but how is he gonna get over that wall? We'll find out after th-

For some odd reason, Froggy seems to enjoy this, flattering Caliborn with a hearty Encore (verbally, anyway), but it doesn't really do anything. Panicking, the Poliwag starts wriggling around in an attempt to do a Rain Dance...but all those tentacles won't let him.

Froggy's fighting pretty hard, but it looks like he's probably gonna lose this stallwar. What do you think, Rico?...Rico?
