The Quackcast aims to cover everything relating to Nintendo and The Pokemon Company International's official competitive Pokemon tournament series, the Video Game Championships. Join us each month as we update you on our thoughts, opinions, and news surrounding the VGC metagame, events, and community.

Pretty enjoyable again, needs more pokemon biology I think, and obviously more Thank Bulbapedia. I won't get upset about the comments about Europe. It's sad, but true.

Was it really that unsurpisizing that I ended up winning the regional event in Surrey? I know I won the Tsukino Con Pokemon League event in Victoria without even staying for the final day, but...

Anyways, along the lines of the fact that Pigeon is literally Pigeon...
"Rapidash may be a combination of rapid and dash... Gallop is literally gallop, a form of running for hooved animals."

Got to love the naming sense they had for Pokemon in the RBY era.

I could totally have won Tsukino-con with you absent on the last day! But apparently just fusing a VGC '10 and '11 team together at the last second does not make for a good triples or rotation team.

Sorry, this completely fell off when the hosts all moved off Smogon to do different things. We did record one more with the same people but unfortunately never found the right timing to do another one.

Huy and makiri have thought of doing a few more episodes in a slightly different style under the Quackcast name but that hasn't happened yet. Synre and evan have thought of starting up a new cast as well. If you want another VGC podcast episode to listen to, you can try this one by evan and Dubulous interviewing bearsfan092.

However, for a regular VGC-oriented podcast I highly recommend checking out The Lava Pool by DrFidget of Team Magma. He gets them out on a regular basis and they involve great people from the community.
