With one foe already dispatched Shadow now sees himself faced down with Bonaparte the Piplup. Nothing he can't deal with though as the Ghost moves swiftly into the soup to perform an Unown Giga Drain to sap some of the fresh Water type's life. Bonaparte also looks to an Unown to boost his move selection and cripples the Ghastly's huge speed advantage through paralysis. The speed drop allows Bonaparte to follow up immediately by crashing a Surf down on Shadow who seems to have finally given in to his confusion once again and hit himself just before it subsided. Bonaparte is taking full advantage with an Ice Beam for more decent damage while the hax piles up on Shadow and Espeon as this time the gasseous one is fully paralyzed.

Pyre hits the field and immediately hits the Spikes that SimonSays set up earlier. The Embirch tries to recover some of the lost health with a set of Leech Seeds but Bonaparte made smart use of the soup and protected himself. Then the real plan begins. Pyre starts absorbing sunlight looking for a really powerful blow and knowing it is coming Bonaparte begins to Bide his time and get ready to dish it all back. The Piplup then sits motionless and absorbs both that Solarbeam and the following Giga Drain and has a real lot of energy ready to unleash at Pyre. The Embirch better come up with a way to avoid that.

Espeon and Pyre think they have a brilliant plan to avoid the incoming assault, dipping back into the soup once again to zip all around the bowl with real Agility. Unfortunately for them this isn't on that very short list of moves that actually stops Bide and Bonaparte unleashes a massive amount of energy that completely turns around the HP totals in this match. Unfortunately it isn't quite enough to take the Embirch out and Pyre is able to get one more hit in, setting up some Leech Seeds on Bonaparte to at least aid his team mates in the rest of the match. Bonaparte meanwhile isn't messing about and just ends Embirch's time in the match with a Torrent boosted Surf.

Espeon sends Pauly back out for what he thought might be an even Piplup on Piplup fight but of course the Spikes and Paralysis that Vigilante previously set up see that this isn't the case. Pauly is far too slow to even have a chance at grabbing Unown Z and Bonaparte nets himself another KO with a Zen Headbutt and Espeon is down to his last team member.

In a rather straightforward round that has taken me far too long to get up Beldum is last called upon by Espeon and his hotly debated Levitrait lets him avoid damage from those pesky Spikes. Bonaparte is weak and tired but does what he can by grabbing another Unown and using it to spit a star of flames at Beldum for some strong super effective damage. Unfortunately he is then left needing to Chill to do anything useful and a series of Headbutts, backed up by a critical hit from Beldum ensure that the Leech Seeds are able to finish off the resiliant Piplup before he can land another hit.

SimonSays is ready to put and end to this one and sends out what I'm now going to decide to call Profanity the Porygon. Profanity decides not to bother Tracing anything, because lets be honest it wouldn't be of much consequence but it does Download some information on Beldum and immediately puts it to good use bu grabbing Unown E for a huge Eruption that Beldum just plain doesn't like at all. Espeon and Beldum decide not to use the Unowns at all for some strange reason and instead proceed with the future Metagross' extremely limited movepool. Beldum whacks away with largely ineffective Headbutts both of the STAB and non STAB variety while Profanity launches a volley of Thunderbolts. The second even hits critically to rub some more salt in and SimonSays looks poised for victory.

Unfortunately for them this isn't on that very short list of moves that actually stops Bide and Bonaparte unleashes a massive amount of energy that completely turns around the HP totals in this match. Unfortunately it isn't quite enough to take the Embirch out and Pyre is able to get one more hit in, setting up some Leech Seeds on Bonaparte to at least aid his team mates in the rest of the match. Bonaparte meanwhile isn't messing about and just ends Embirch's time in the match with a Torrent boosted Surf. Bonaparte is weak and tired but does what he can by grabbing another Unown and using it to spit a star of flames at Beldum for some strong super effective damage. Unfortunately he is then left needing to Chill to do anything useful and a series of Headbutts, backed up by a critical hit from Beldum ensure that the Leech Seeds are able to finish off the resiliant Piplup before he can land another hit.
