I have the backing of another ASB Moderator on the matter - Light Screen decays one stage at the end of each action, not the end of your opponent's action. And yes, that DOES mean that slower mons using Light Screen only get an effective 5a of LS in singles.

If you can get an alternative ruling feel free and I'll correct.

Well, I was counting on not having it. Although I did miscount the damage by 3 HP or something which would have made it unnecessary. Also, Sunny Day is over now because of the arena effects. That's kinda important too.
