Seasonal Ladder - December (Winter Wonderland)

Ok so the new ladder is now up and ready to go! This month's ladder is sponsored by:

Enjoy the many Ice-types, pixies, star pokemon, and raindeers on the ladder! Also, permanent Hail (yes, without Abomasnow or Snover needed) and a special Present. Literally, because Present was changed and it has some very cool possiblities now! Check Zarel's post right after this one to see exactly what awaits you.

Since there were some Pokemon with the potential to ruin all of our fun (looking at you Jirachi, Victini, and Chandelure), we had to make one or two changes to their moveset to make sure they weren't making others' lives miserable.

Having said all that, this is the list of Pokemon you'll run into in Winter Wonderland:

The foe receives a random present:

25% The present was a bomb! (200 base power attack)
15% The present was a makeover! (2 stats lowered, 1 stat raised)
5% The present was confusion! (confusion)
5% The present was Disable! (Disable)
5% The present was a taunt! (Taunt)
5% The present was some seeds! (Leech Seed)
5% The present was an embargo! (Embargo)
5% The present was a music box! (Perish Song)
5% The present was a curse! (Ghost-type Curse)
5% The present was Torment! (Torment)
5% The present was a trap! (partial trapping)
5% The present was a root! (Ingrain)
5% The present was psychic powers! (Telekinesis)
5% The present was fatigue! (must recharge)

In the perish song and curse presents, I assume it only affects the opponent?

I think it's physical since a +2def Miltank took only 10% from a Blissey (and 42% from an Azumarill)

Sawsbuck isnt in winter form, so if thats something that can be changed, that'd be awesome. Winter form is best anyway!

Yeah I asked Zarel if we could have that but Sawsbuck forms aren't implemented on PS! yet. But regular Sawsbuck is pretty badass!

This is so cool. Game Freak should do this for the real Present for next generation.

Nothing different; none of the Present effects are secondary effects.
