The match starts! As Charla is ordered to turn into a ground type with Camouflage, Obliterator strikes it hard with a Punch infused with the power of a Thunder and sends it flying, directly to the water! Charla is unable to turn into a ground type!

Charla then shoots a Thunder-Wave to paralise her foe, but Obliterator shoots a powerfull Shock-Wave, that clashes with the Waves.
After a while, Obliterator's superior knowledge on electric moves manages to disrupt Charla's attack.....or most of it, as a small part of it strikes Obliterator and paralises her by just 10%.

Making good use of Charla's location, Obliterator calls upon a massive Thunder (Well, Lighting), which does extra damage! Angered, Charla summons a massive amount of water and Surfs on it, leaving the water in the process.

Flavor justification.

1) Thunder-Punch was able to push Charla since it is a SE STAB, coming from a pokemon that was ordered to push it's small opponent.

2) Shock-Wave was able to redirect most of the electricity due to Obliterator's innate knowledge on that sort of move, but i dont think it could disperse the whole thing, especialy with an inferior Sp.Attack.

3) Charla was located in the water when the attack was used, giving it an extra ''kick''. Even though it missed, it still striked the water, which allowed her to hurt Charla, albeit the eletricity was completely dispersed, lowering the damage

Not really, but hats off to you for such a well-played move! I really should've belay rolling out that kind of surprise until I'm ordering second, and just stall out last round with things like Dodge and Recover. Anyway, let's use that substitution against him, Charla - I cannot stress how we need to recover our footing, and his cooling down will give us the breathing room we need.

(Also I suddenly realised that Elekid was slower than Staryu in A3 since it got T-Waved *gasp*)

Now that Charla is faster, the Operation: Ground Type is finally a sucess! Wheeeee....of course, IceSpade predicted that and Obliterator rams hard on Charla with a Quick-Attack combo!

Still on the defensive, Charla focuses her inner powers to Recover some health while Obliterator recovers her breath from the combo.

Finally, Charla shoots yet another Thunder-Wave to paralise her nemesis a bit more (Ok, a LOT more), who tries to answer with an Ice-Punch to the face(?!), but fails due to the paralysis.

Hey Matezoide, I have some problems with the calcs, so correct and forgive me if I'm wrong.
In A1 Obliterator[Elekid] wasn't able to move so he should have used Ice Punch in A2. Also if the combo hit, I think it would have dealt more damage than that (and also outspeed Staryu before he turns into a Ground type).
In A3, there should be some calc if Obliterator would get hit by Thunder Wave since he's an Electric type and the chance is only 50%.
Also the flavor is confusing me since it isn't specified if Obliterator was paralyzed or not, it just says that he executed the action.

Actually, I'm quite hoping to continue stalling you out. Charla, use your last Recover to keep absorbing her attacks. Then, Surf out her clones to, erm, flush her out, so to speak. With that low chance of total paralysis, plus the fact that Light Screen will actually last for one more action after this round (since Elekid moves second during A1 last round), we're counting on a last all-out attempt to Burn and take off a good piece of her HP as well.

And the fight rages on!

Charla starts by using Recover to restore some precious HP while both Obliterators charge with an Ice-Punch, the Recovering Staryu has no idea which one is the real Obliterator and cant dodge......sadly, however, her smaller size makes Obliterator miss the target despite the +Speed nature!

Happy with this, Charla summons another massive wave and Surfs on it, striking both Elekids and making the copy disapear! Obliterator counter attacks with Swift, which manages to knock Charla off the wave and causes it to calm down.

Determined to get that Punch, Obliterator runs again and strikes Charla in the face with Ice-Energy, even getting a critical hit as the Staryu chills.
