Hello Community,
this is my first NU team and i need it for tourneys and of course i want to get a good placement. And please excuse my bad English, in reality i'm a German player. I hope you can understand me anyway. ^^ Rotom-S @ Choice Specs Trait: Levitate Timid Nature (+Spe, -Atk) EVs: 252 SpA, 252 Spe, 4 HP - Trick - Voltswitch - Hidden Power [Rock] - Air Slash Rotom-S is my pokémon which i use to start the game. i took the choice specs because i think that Rotom-S needs more power than speed. Trick is against boosters like Eelektross or Curse-Regirock. Voltswitch is Rotom-S' STAB attack and i can switch an other pokémon from me into the game. Hidden Power [Rock] is against ice-types and fire-types which make me problems. And Air Slash is an obligatory STAB which is good against plant-types like Serperior. Bronzor @ Evolution Stone Trait: Levitate Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spe) EVs: 252 Def, 252 SpD, 4 HP - Stealth Rock - Toxic - Protect - Gyro Ball The little steel plate is important for my team. Because of it's type it is resistant against many types in the NU tier. The Evolution Stone gives him extra defense power. Stealth Rock is always good because you often needs to switch your pokémon. I use Toxic to hit flying pokémon too which aren't affected by Toxic Spikes from Roselia. Protect hurts the Pokémon more when they are poisoned and i know which attack the opponent wanted to use or which pokémon he want to switch-in. Gyro Ball is against Taunt and hurts Regice, my biggest problem. Shelgon @ Evolution Stone Trait: Overcoat Impish Nature (+Def, -Spe) EVs: 4 HP, 252 Def, 252 SpD - Roar - Toxic - Wish - Dragon Claw Shelgon is important for my team too. It is resistant against fire-typed attacks, one of my biggest weaks. I gave him an Evolution Stone to give him more bulk. Roar is against boosters. I use Toxic to hit pokémon when they aren't poisoned yet. Wish is important for Bronzor or Regirock to give them HP back. And Dragon Claw hits many pokémon neutral and if Shelgon is taunted. Roselia @ Evolution Stone Trait: Natural Cure Calm Nature (+SpD, -Atk) EVs: 4 HP, 252 Def, 252 SpD - Aromatherapy - Toxic Spikes - Synthesis - Giga Drain Roselia is an important team member too because it heals my pokémon from status effects and distributes the Toxic Spikes. It has an Evolution Stone too because it has many weaks and needs more defensive power. Synthesis gives him HP back, and Giga Drain too, but Giga Drain hurts the opponent's pokémon. Frillish @ Evolution Stone Trait: Water Absorb Calm Nature (+SpD, -Atk) EVs: 4 HP, 252 Def, 252 SpD - Recover - Protect - Toxic - Scald Frillish gives my team an important ice- and fire-resistance. Because it's an underdeveloped pokémon, i gave it an Evolution Stone. Recover gives it HP back, Protect makes more damage when the opponent is poisoned, Toxic poisons the opponent and Scald is a STAB attack and burns maybe the pokémon which are steel- oder poison-types. Regirock @ Leftovers Trait: Clear Body Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spe) EVs: 252 HP, 252 Atk, 4 SpD - Curse - Drain Punch - Ice Punch - Rock Slide Regirock is my Lategame-Sweeper and gives me an important resistanve against fire-typed attacks. Leftovers gives it HP back, and Drain Punch too. Curse boosts it and Regirock is better against physical attacks. Ice Punch is for plant-typed pokémon, and Rock Slide is his STAB attack. I hope my team is good and I hope I will get lots of suggestions for improvement. Yours faithfully, Quaggy |

Hey Quaggy, its interesting that you're taking a more defensive route in NU, as offensive teams are definitely more common and dominant. Unfortunately, there are a lot of issues with this team.
Bronzor flat out sucks. There is really nothing else to say. Its offensive stats are abysmal, it is set up fodder for anything in the tier, it isn't that bulky and really contributes nothing to your team. I believe that using Metang in that spot Trait: Clear Body Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SpA) EVs: 252 HP/ 252 Atk / 4 Def - Stealth Rock - Meteor Mash - Toxic - Earthquake This set has all the benefits of Bronzor, while also having some offensive presence. Meteor Mash and Earthquake are so you can hit a few things hard, and makes it difficult to use Metang as set up fodder. Adamant and 252 Attack EVs also help with this, as you really can't let things set up on Metang. Toxic is for things you just can't do damage to, like Alomomola. It also helps you with your Regice issues greatly! There are also some small changes that will help your team: Rotom-S wants a Choice Scarf. Speed is much more important to Rotom-S, so a standard scarf set of Trait: Levitate Timid Nature EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 Def - Thunderbolt - Volt Switch - Air Slash - Trick would benefit your team immensely because it would allow you to revenge kill sweepers, as well as serving as a scout early game. The set you have now really doesn't accomplish much, and there are better Choice Specs electric types, like Ampharos. Frillish really doesn't want Protect, Taunt would be much more useful there. As well as 252 HP EVs instead of defense. Frillish is handy as a special defensive stallbreaker right now, and Taunt allows you to stop set up, and can stop recovery from walls like Lickilicky. Taunt is a lot better than Protect. This team wil still have some issues, but it should function a lot better now. It's just really hard to run a defensive team in this metagame, there are to many offensive threats to beat. Best of luck!
tl;dr

Even though Camerupt isn't seen often, it wrecks this team. The only Pokemon that shows any offensive presence is rotom, as regirock shouldn't be used as a sweeper. Bronzor sucks in any tier that isn't Little Cup, so Metang is easily the better option. Bastiodon is the better option over Shelgon, and seeing as camerupt, or and fire type for that matter, really hurts, you, an offensive water type such as samurott could help in place of regirock.
