Ladies and gentlemen, we are finally BACK ON TRACK!!! After a lull in the competition, the trainers once again jump into action! Terror, the baddest bird on the field, starts the round by using Double Team, once again mimicking the techniques of Feferi and Jolt before him to make it seem like there's multiple Archeops on the field! Jimmy, appeasing the bridge, uses Dark Pulse on Doc Scratch, leaving him with perilously low energy. Was 10 damage worth it? Kirinriki, joining in on the action, fires a bolt of lightning from its horn, but it strikes one of Terror's clones, which fades on contact! It turns out that Jimmy's attack was important, as when Doc Scratch prepares to attack, the force of the super-effective attack surprises him and makes him flinch! The next action starts off with Terror using Dark Pulse to strike Kirinriki for decent damage. After that, Jimmy decides to take a chill-pill, restoring his critically low energy to ok levels, while Doc Scratch proceeds to release a powerful Earthquake upon the Texans for similarly ok damage. However, an action of average attacks all changes when Kirinriki, retaining its focus even through the scary Dark Pulse from the bird of Terror, uses that attack to channel its own energy, striking Doc Scratch for heavy damage! The final action starts with Terror suddenly flitting around, ready to dodge any attack! Well... almost any. Jimmy, not patient enough for any of that bs, channels his aura between his palms, and fires it in the form of a sphere towards the panicking bird, ignoring all of the clones! "Bank left! Do a barrel roll! Evasive Maneuvers!" Dare yells orders at his bird Pokemon desperately, but even with his best efforts, the sphere collides with Terror, sending him hurtling towards the ground. As he gets back up, a tear forms in his eye... he is defeated. Well, back to the action, Kirinriki fires another lightning bolt at the bird, but Terror apparently decides he's not yet done after all, and dodges it with graceful ease. Doc Scratch, angered by the sadness he feels in his partner, launches a rage-filled Earthquake that even manages to strike Jimmy for a critical hit! As the round ends, it seems like Jimmy and Kirinriki are in trouble, but Texas and EM still have two healthy Pokemon waiting in the wings... how will this turn out!

After that, Kirinriki tries to help out by slamming Terror with an Iron Tail, but all the smoke obscures its vision and it misses completely! After that Doc Scratch tries its hand with Dynamic Punch, but it too misses. Next, Terror darts through the air, moving through the smoke to strike Jimmy with a powerful Acrobatics, while Jimmy once again returns the favor by striking it with a high-flying jump kick. However, Jimmy's long fight seems to have taken its toll on him, and Jimmy collapses in exhaustion on the ground. Kirinriki, enraged at his teammates fall, fires a bolt of lightning at Terror, and this time, it connects, KOing Terror in turn. Doc Scratch again tries to hit Kirinriki, this time with a more accurate Earthquake, but the Giraffe somehow manages to dodge the seismic shockwave entirely, leaving it unharmed. After its jump, Kirinriki chills while Doc Scratch finally lands an attack on it in the form of Pursuit.

The attack passes through Doc Scratch's intangible body, but Maury's Shadow Punch doesn't, and as it connects it deals decent damage to Doc Scratch. As Kirinriki responds to attack, it trips and hurts itself, while Maury launches another Shadow Punch and Doc Scratch cools down from his mighty blow.
