The Strange Movepool Thread

So, there is already a thread that says what moves certain Pokemon should get but don't. Have you ever considered how strange some movepools already are? This is the place where you should post moves that simply don't make sense on certain Pokemon.

A few rules:

Try not to repeat movepools that have already been commented on.
No discussion of Mew or Smeargle, please. Yes, I realize that they have quite a few strange moves.

Now that that's done, let's get started!

A few examples:

Togekiss+Drain Punch/Focus Punch
I know Togetic had arms, but that's no excuse.
Dusknoir+Mega Kick
If you're wondering why, look at the sprite.
Shroomish+Focus Punch
No explanation necessary
Diglett+Hone Claws
Same explanation as above

Diglett has a whole host of moves that are pretty stupid, like Slash, Scratch and Aerial Ace... All of which should involve blades and/or claws.

There are also a few Iron Tail users who have no tails at all to speak of, or very short tails.

Cryogonal can learn Attract which is weird due to it being genderless.

On that note, the Ferrothorn and Volcarona families can't, for reasons unknown. Perhaps it's more of the fact that they're too menacing or too phyiscally dangerous to be able to attract? (then again we have attract gyarados)

I've always found it weird that Machamp could learn Fire Blast. Seriously, buff physique, four arms, and... Fire Blast?

As a hyperactive monkey I wondered why a pokemon like infernape got slack off while the lazy mon snorlax lacks it, I'd have preferred if it had been a signature for slaking

I find it extremely odd that Cubone gets ice beam/ blizzard. It just doesn't seem right to me.

In a similar way, I find it odd that pokemon such as Rhydon and Rampardos can surf when they get ohkoed by a bubble

I've always thought it was kind of obvious that Dugtrio has claws we can't see (it is supposedly a mole after all), so I don't know why it keeps coming up in these threads. I also don't really think that this thread should get bogged down in Pokemon learning moves that make sense for other members of their evolutionary families, because all of those cases have that same answer.

Fly Doduo is a strange one though, since the move explicitly contradicts the rest of its established flavour.
