Welcome to the Royal Unova! We've returned from the mountain, and this time we're on a boat! Many famous trainers from around the world will be traveling on this boat, including your rival, a movie star, Sinnoh gym leaders, and a slut. If you defeat all 5 trainers in order on the boat, then you will become the captain and get to drive it wherever you want for an hour. If you lose 3 times without beating everyone, the trip will end and you will have to come back another day. Whoever is the captain by the end of the challenge can sell the boat to DittoCrow for AOPs in #rarelyused. The scenery is exhilarating, the battles are exciting. Bon Voyage!

complete legitimacy

Rules:

If you are challenged as a trainer, you must not john. Continued johning will lead to you being replaced.
Trainers can take the challenge, but get to skip themselves. If one of them becomes the Captain, they will get replaced.
All matches are to be played in the current RU tier, whatever that my be, with the standard clauses on.
If you lose a total of 3 times without beating everyone, then you must restart your challenge.
If you lose, you have wait 24 hours before you challenge the trainer again. However, if the trainer agrees to a rematch before the 24 hour wait is up, you may face him again.
If you lose as the Captain, you will be replaced, lose all your status, and have to beat everyone again. The person who is the Captain when the challenge ends wins.
You only get one challenge against the current Captain; lose, and you have to head back to Castelia City to heal and then buy a new ticket.
The challenge will end when the boat runs out of gas.
If you lose 3 times to Trainer #1, then beat him, you will go through the rest of the challenge with 2 losses. After your third lose to a further trainer, your losses will be reset to 0.

To start your challenge, simply post in this thread saying you are going to play, and then report back with your wins and losses. Sharing logs and replays is encouraged. You can contact these trainers on IRC in #rarelyused.

Also, you said in the OP "If you lose 3 times without beating everyone, the trip will end and you will have to come back another day.". I take it this does not mean that you can do it as many times as you want on different days, but rather 3 strikes and you're out. But please clarify anyway :P
