Tell us a little about yourself: I'm a studious guy from Minnesota who does legitimate Let's Plays and I want to get better at battling. I started playing Pokemon for fun during Emerald, and caught every Pokemon on fifth anniversary of playing. I also play certain series' like Mario, the Legend of Zelda, Kirby, Fire Emblem, as well as some othe stuff. I have a 3.945 GPA, and for what I'm doing in high school, I'd say that's pretty good. I like to work hard on things that interest me, and I like to be able communicate with my peers, especially of they're trying to communicate with me. I am very cooperative, but occasionally I do slip, but its rare. I'm also an honors student and a varsity tennis player. That said, I hope to learn a lot here!

Tell us a little about yourself: I've been off an on with battling on PO/Showdown for a little over a year, although I've never gotten that good. All I've really done is read a few smogon articles here and there on some of my more favorite pokemon, and talked with a few of my friends over (very) primitive strategies. However, I have wanted to change that for a while. Last year I applied over the summer once because I wanted to learn before I went to college, assuming I would not have time. However I was too late signing up and did not receive a spot. Fortunately, after experiencing college thus far I think I actually do have time to pursue learning competitive battling now, and don't have to wait until the summer to learn. And I especially want to learn now before the sixth generation comes out so that I can apply my knowledge when judging new pokemon and experience the drastic changes the metagame will go through with complete understanding.

Will you be willing to do tutee talk threads on your tutors?: yes!

I have less than 25 posts, yes. This is because last year when I registered I did not have confidence to post my opinions in metagame sections, and did not feel I knew people well enough to post in the non-related forums. When I wasn't accepted into the program, I sort of 'gave up' and did not try again because of perceived time constraints or other reasons. As I said though, I have found I have much more free time to devote to these forums now. You may even be able to see this, as I've been trying to be more outgoing and have actually made posts in other areas. Especially now that I've found threads which draw my interest such as the baseball and health threads in the 'eh' section.

Tell us a little about yourself: Well, I've been playing Pokemon competitively since around October. I've been a part of the NeoSeeker Pokemon community since around that time. I've grown a lot since I started thanks to some tutoring on there. However, i feel like there is a lot I have left to learn. A member on there told me of this program saying I could likely learn a lot from your members. I'd like to work on team building a good bit more. As well, I feel like I could greatly benefit from some experience battling with someone who is at the op of their game!

Tell us a little about yourself: In my final semester of college and mainly looking for something to help keep me sane for the rest of the year. I've played since gen 1 but took a break after gen 2, but never had any sence of balancing a team, both with team building and exp balancing. Got back into it for Heartgold and began reading into the metagame after finding pokerus. While I'm begining to understand how EVs and IVs, I still need help creating a team. I have been better at variaty, both for moves and types, I still keep building teams that have one major weakness on multiple members and focus on attacking moves with little to no status changes or weather effects.

Why I should be considered with under 25 posts: I'll more then willing to admit I'm usually more a lurker then a talker, but I feel like I have nothing to say about what I read. I was actually a pretty good player in 4th gen but when 5th gen came out I really struggled to get the hang of it so I haven't played it very seriously. Tell us a little about yourself: I enjoy using underrated Pokemon, usually in lower tiers. I'm not one to bash on tiers and instead I try my best to make things I like successful. I'm not very good but I know the difference between what could work and what wouldn't. (Like not using a Beedrill, full team of UUs / NUs, etc) I've seen RMT threads like "Weird Fish" and "Twister", both with some interesting ideas. I've always wanted to make a team with something that sets it apart from the rest. But I know I can't do it by myself. If it matters, (which it probably doesn't) the highest I've been on Pokemon Showdown is around 1950 in OU.

Reason for under 25 posts: I realize that I'm a very, very unlikely person to be picked. To be honest, I've browsed this site since 2009-2010 but never made an account because I felt that I had nothing to contribute. Tell us a little about yourself: I've loved Pokemon since I got Blue for my 5th or 6th birthday. In the four or so months I've been a member here my knowledge of the metagames has really grown and I'd love to be able to further my knowledge so that I can confidently pass on what I've learned to others. The other reason that I signed up here is that I love to talk Pokemon and what better way to do that then by being taught about it at the same time. This is because last year when I registered I did not have confidence to post my opinions in metagame sections, and did not feel I knew people well enough to post in the non-related forums. I've played since gen 1 but took a break after gen 2, but never had any sence of balancing a team, both with team building and exp balancing. Got back into it for Heartgold and began reading into the metagame after finding pokerus. While I'm begining to understand how EVs and IVs, I still need help creating a team. I have been better at variaty, both for moves and types, I still keep building teams that have one major weakness on multiple members and focus on attacking moves with little to no status changes or weather effects. (Like not using a Beedrill, full team of UUs / NUs, etc) I've seen RMT threads like "Weird Fish" and "Twister", both with some interesting ideas. I've always wanted to make a team with something that sets it apart from the rest. But I know I can't do it by myself. If it matters, (which it probably doesn't) the highest I've been on Pokemon Showdown is around 1950 in OU. Will you be willing to do tutee talk threads on your tutors?: Yes.
