ANYBODY can gain muscle and weight, you just need to eat more. If you can drink a gallon if milk for 25 days I can promise you that you WILL gain 25 pounds, of course if you do heavy lifting. P90x is a real bad way to gain weight by the way, this is more intense cardio that anything else you need to lift heavy weights and eat a shitload.

It's slightly more simple than "just eating more". I didn't say it's impossible to gain weight and muscle AT ALL, I'm just saying that the amount you can gain depends on your natural build and frame. Someone like FM or myself is not going to be able to become Arnold Swarzenaegger, no matter how much weights we lift or food we eat. Someone like FM could start eating 5,000+ calories per day and follow a heavy pyramid lifting program, but I wouldn't foresee him gaining more than 20 lbs of muscle in any reasonable period of time. Look at his frame--his body and tendons are not built to house 250 lbs of muscular mass. Yeah, with GOMAD you can gain 25 lbs in 25 days, but how many people do you think can just magically start drinking a GALLON of milk per day? That's alot of sudden work for your stomach and digestive system, especially if you weren't that big of a milk drinker to begin with. Even with 25 lbs of added weight, that puts FM up to 180. Now, I'm 6'2" and around 200 lbs, with roughly the same type of frame, and I still look pretty lean. I have strength and muscle, but I don't look "bulky" by any means. Yes, FM could add some muscle and look more muscular, but it isn't going to be that drastic of a change. Take it from someone who's been there and done that.

1) You're supposed to work up to a gallon a day. I did it, it's not that hard.
2) You're putting way way way too much emphasis on genetics. You can get as big as you want to be to a certain extent. Nothing is stopping him from going past 180 or 200 or whatever he wants. Obviously no one here is going to look like Arnold, but he weighed 150 lbs at 6' tall before he started putting on muscle, and look where he ended up. I don't know what kept you from putting on more muscle but obviously you messed up somewhere (chances are you didn't eat enough, weird I know)
