Overview Smeargle@focus sash Jolly Nature Own Tempo 4HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe Spore Belly Drum Baton Pass Extremespeed my starter, its quite well equipped to out speed a fair few leads especially in BL, its very rare that it doesn't get out of battle as it will always spore and pass if need be, where it can come in later as a finisher, belly drum+extreme speed can kill wevile absol, dugtrio and done correctly it trashes jask in its own right. Floatzal@Shell Bell Adamant Nature Swift Swim 72HP / 252 Atk / 64 Def / 104 SpDef / 16 Spe Waterfall Rain dance Brick Break Ice Fang a very important part of the squad, when set up with 2 swords dance (leafeon) or the belly drum from the smeargle it is very hard to remove and that is the reason for shell bell, any damage taken in the rain set up will be healed off (13% will belly and waterfall up to 23% off a blissy) can also come in as a finisher off ludicolo rain Ludicolo@Leftovers Modest Nature Swift Swim 152 HP / 252 SpAtk / 16 Spe Surf Rain Dance Grass Knot Ice beam this is decent type coverage as well as doubling up as special coverage and can do a fair bit of damage in its own right, with sweeping potential later in the game Tauros@Choice scarf Jolly Nature Intimidate 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe Return Earthquake Stone edge Zen Headbutt A very quick fix to fast pokemon, i can bring it in and damage them heavily, or even sweep off a set up, not really much to say about it. Ryperior@LeftoversImpish Nature Solid Rock 252 HP / 6 Atk / 252 Def Earthquake Stone Edge Stealth Rock Megahorn the basic wall brought in to absorb things like explosion (usualy around 27% on it) and set up rocks to heavily damage flying types that try and come in, also megahorn to remove grass types (as well as TTars if it faces OU) Leafeon@Leftovers Jolly Nature Leaf guard 132 HP / 160 Atk / 216 spe Leaf Blade Swords Dance Baton pass Grass Whistle the surprise package of the team, a very fast pokemon (308 speed) that has the potential to set up very easily off any physical type using its 130 base defence or set up itself for sweeping. overall i feel this team has perfromed wall against even OU's (fair few 6-0 and 2 sandstream teams were 6-0ed), i am working towards building this team on wifi as well. You should give leftovers instead of shell bell just cause you want a guaranteed heal, besides shell bell's heal is usually the same as leftovers.
You may consider damp rock also and remove Rain Dance on Ludi. You don't need those EV's in Sp. Def on your floatzel, you should invest them in HP or speed, but this can be done at your preferance. You don't need 6 HP EV's on Tauros just 4. similar case with Rhyperior. 308 Spd on Leafeon Can't outrun alot of threats such as gengar, starmie etc, Invest his HP ev's in speed instead. (as much as you can anyway) |

well the key for floatzal is to scrounge off the rain (almost unstoppable) and attack set ups, which is usualy sweep. leafeon wouldn't come out against gengar or starmie,. ludicolo is my special wall with a kick rather then just a wall.
the reason for the spdef EV is that it can get its rain off, it did run leftovers for a time but in the long run of things it either dies because its not set up anyway or sweeps everyone when it is (and heals for 12%+ in the process) although HP might be a better idea overall to look at for EV distribution. |
