Comment:The purpose of this Tyranitar is to tear down walls, kind of similar to an Infernape, with a combination of Hidden Power Grass and Fire Blast. The advantage this Tyrantar has over the frail sweepers however, is far greater bulk and surprise factor. Being able to frighten opponents can earn you the opportunity to Dragon Dance, at which point this Tyranitar will be at respectable speed. Then, when a counter is switched in, you can use Hidden Power Grass, which will surprise a good portion of counters (Hippowdon, Swampert, etc...) for super effective damage. Anything that resists the fire and grass combination you can cut down with STAB and Dragon Dance boosted Stone Edges. This may not single-handedly sweep through an entire team, but the damage it will do will set you up for a nice clean up.

The advantage this Tyrantar has over the frail sweepers however, is far greater bulk and surprise factor. Being able to frighten opponents can earn you the opportunity to Dragon Dance, at which point this Tyranitar will be at respectable speed. Then, when a counter is switched in, you can use Hidden Power Grass, which will surprise a good portion of counters (Hippowdon, Swampert, etc...) for super effective damage. Anything that resists the fire and grass combination you can cut down with STAB and Dragon Dance boosted Stone Edges.
