Moltres @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 HP Modest Nature (-Atk, +SAtk) - Fire Spin - Flamethrower - Hidden Power [Grass] - Substitute Max special attack + Fire Spin trapping Vaporeon (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Water Absorb EVs: 196 HP / 252 Def / 60 SAtk Bold Nature (-Atk, +Def) - Ice Beam - Protect - Surf - Wish I'm thinking of replacing Protect with Haze. Salamence (M) @ Choice Band Trait: Intimidate EVs: 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Earthquake - Fire Blast - Hidden Power [Flying] - Rock Slide Standard CB'er Snorlax (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Immunity EVs: 108 HP / 124 Atk / 136 Def / 140 SDef Careful Nature (-SAtk, +SDef) - Body Slam - Curse - Rest - Sleep Talk Standard Curselax. I sometimes think of using Fire Blast, but I'm not sure on what to replace it with. Claydol @ Leftovers Trait: Levitate EVs: 252 HP / 162 Atk / 12 Spd / 60 SAtk / 24 SDef Calm Nature (-Atk, +SDef) - Hidden Power [Fire] - Ice Beam - Psychic - Rapid Spin Spinner + Special attacker Regirock @ Leftovers Trait: Clear Body EVs: 204 HP / 112 SAtk / 56 Def / 136 SDef Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk) - Curse - Explosion - Focus Punch - Rock Slide After 2 or more Curses, it takes physical attacks like they're nothing. The main weakness is that I don't have any proper phazers, so stat boosting is a problem. Actually, the only matches I ever lost while using this team were stat boosting/Baton passing matches Last edited by Solidus; Dec 28th, 2008 at 6:41:46 PM. |

Cursepert of all things really fucks with you. Put haze on vaporeon, roar on moltres over fire spin, it doesn't matter but you need some way to counter stat uppers. When Regirock blows up on the bulky water that's shitting all over you, you inevitably die to anything with an attack stat.

Fire Spin is for trapping, but it isn't reliable offensively, so I'll just go ahead and replace it with Roar. Regirock is the main physical defense, but Vaporeon is bulky enough to withstand most physical attacks. I wouldn't have to worry about Vaporeon getting wiped out by a Swords Dancer if I had Haze.

Needs more Zephyr Fire and Semula and Water and Lackluster and I can see you and Nakmachine ya.
Did vapicuno give you this? Anyway I really don't suggest leading with Moltres. Common leads such as Zapdos, Salamence, Tyranitar, etc, all screw Moltres up big time. Lead with CBMence imo. |

I can't really see Fire Spin working without Toxic or Protect for Pressure abuse. Even then you'd probably still need higher speed for it to work the way you want it.
