So now how do I figure out exactly what date/time/second/ to continue my game since there isnt a generate more times option?

on the top right there is a a button called seed times push it and then pick your date and stuff and then click the bottom generate and thats how you search elm calls to see which adjacent frames you hit but after you hit your delay close the seed to time window and then jst keep calling elm (following the main screen of RNG reporter) until you are one away (liekin your case frame 28) then battle suduwoodo and it should be it!

Curiousity strikes me on how would you RNG a roaming Latios? Would you need to hit the targeted Seed/Delay/frame and then trigger the Latios event so that his IVs generate on the moment you exit the Pokemon Fanclub? With so many NPCs inside the Pokemon Fanclub, would they make it rather difficult?

I don't think there are any NPCs in the fanclub, because they don't seem to move and the little pokemon is moving in a completely predictable fashion. It's when you get out the door that the frames seem to get weird. I didn't spend that much time trying to do the RNG in the Fanclub because I couldn't predict how much getting out the door and into the range of the town NPCs advanced the frames. In the end, it was easier for me to do the RNG standing in the battle room with Lance.

Yeah, it's possible.
Method 1, but don't forget that there's a NPC in the museum.

luckily i'm not too bad with NPCs. i get eggs from daycare man without the NPC screwing things up. hopefully it's the same in the museum. thanks!

Alright, I figured out how to work the rng reporter, but I still didnt get the correct result. Since Im not far enough in the game I have to use Irwin instead of elm and I used him to advance my frames by 1 each time. Was I only supposed to use Irwin for the delay confirmation and use elm for the actual frame advance, or did some still unknown factor prevent me from doing this right?

Method K just like standing legendaries. Also Riski... was there anything you had to account for with the RNG Latios like NPCs?

I saved on the inside of the fanclub just in front of the door and did the frame advancements just before walking out the door, since Stephen talks to you the moment you step out. I tried twice with the correct delay, but adjusting my stopping frame (using first results to try to predict where to stop) did not get me a predictable outcome. The latios had IVs on a frame I didn't expect it to be on. At that point, I left this save file alone and did the RNG in front of Lance instead.

Edit: As far as I could tell, the people in the fanclub were not NPCs because they were not moving. Only the little pokemon moved, but in a predictable pattern. I'm not sure how many NPCs act on the frames the second you walk out the door, but it may be a lot.

It still sounds like a nuisance to RNG because you need to account for roamers.

On another note: When you are trying to RNG for an even delay but have a calibrated odd delay, just stick a generation 3 cartridge game and that will allow you to hit even delays right?

Would it be ok for me to put a calibrated delay that is odd in Pikatimer and a targeted delay that's even?

Yes, it should work, but I have seen occasional glitches where the wrong type of delay (odd instead of even or even instead of odd) will show up. Andother thing you can do if you have plenty of time on your countdown is to scroll the Pokemon game continue screen down to the wifi section and then change the screen back up to continue. On HGSS, this also changes the delay from odd to even or vice versa.

No, that won't work, since the seed determines the delay that is needed for the right pokemon.

You sure? Im just randomly testing it right now and the only thing that changes is a slight 10 millisecond difference when you add such values into pikatimer.

Either way.. Im going to start my RNG for my Togekiss now and tell you how it turns out after Im done.

Well, it's your game that's doing the same type of delay, so changing Pikatimer isn't what will force the delay to stop being odd (if it's usually odd) or even (if it's usually even). The only thing that changes that is the year of RNG, the GBA game in the GBA slot, or scrolling down to wifi and up again.

Is it possible to find your SID by catching multiple red gyrados's and using the chain to SID function in RNG reporter.

Okay, so I got yet another problem RNG'ing. You see, I keep getting wrong delays, and they are not even on the right target time. You see, I am trying to get 2:15:14, with a delay of 794, but I keep getting things like 794, or 826 on times like 2:15:12, or 2:30:13, so how do I make so I land on a target time with 14 seconds, not 13 or 12?

Calibrate
It takes practice hitting the right delay dude.

Sure, I'll get on that tomorrow (it's 3:30AM here).

Question:
Is there any way other than changing the year to move the delay from an even to an odd, on a DSi (hence no GBA slot). I don't like the fact half of my pokes were captured next year.

Ok Im having a problem here... According to Shiny Egg of RNG Reporter section.

On August 10th 2010, 00:35:50 frame 9 should be generating a Female, modest, Ability 0 pokemon from egg but I am getting a male, modest, Ability 1 pokemon. I confirmed that I hit my seed and made 4 Joey calls to make sure I hit the frame. What's going on?

post the seed you're using, the date and time are irrelevant.

Any tips to htting high delays in Platinum version?

I am used to hitting delays between 592 and 604, but the absolute lowest delay I can have is 1172. (this is in the year 2099)
