Ugh... I am having issues again.

Just now I was doing some RNG for Starmie, after I hit continue, I flipped my Journal to the first page, consisting a capture message twice. For example:

First Page: CAught Starly ,then I flip to second page
Second Page: Started from Solaceon, I flip to the first page, then repeat it ONCE.

This should increase the frame by 4 right? Why does the adjacent results are so off compared to what I hatch? I have no such problems when the target frame is the one that I got in frame calibration.

Can anyone tell me how to change the odd/even of the delay WITHOUT messing with the year or putting a GBA cart in?

In a way, yes, Both Method J and Method K spreads are Method 1 spreads. But because a frame is available on DPPt using Method J, doesn't always mean you can get the same frame on HGSS Method K and vise-versa.

Just think of it the same way as when you use PokeRNG to find a spread, then use RNGReporter to find the Method J equivilant, but instead your using the Method K option

If your Journal is opening when you hit continue, you will have already advanced the RNG by two, so the act of reopening the Journal would advance the RNG for you again, to four. If that's not true, make sure that you don't have any "Defeated" wild Pokémon on either page.

Can anyone tell me how to change the odd/even of the delay WITHOUT messing with the year or putting a GBA cart in?

As far as I know, this is impossible. You have to employ one or the other.

Ok so i am rnging for wondercard ivs my frame is 141 so 141-0 1/2 so 70 Flips right?

I don't really get your idea, but the second page don't have a capture/defeat wild Pokemon message. And my Journal is showing up when I was calibrating, showing the message.
In short, my first page have the message while my sec page don't, if I press A,B,A,B the frame should increase by 4, right?
And I DIDNT reopen my Journal, I mashed A and L once I am done with the journal.

Hey guys i need your help!
My rng reporter doesn't start. I downloaded every version of the .net programm, but each time, when i try to start it, the "hourglass" appears for 10 seconds and nothing happens. I don't know where the problem is, i also tried the systemregenration, but it doesn't help =/

Umm not sure if I can ask this question, but neither Check IVs code for the AR is working for me after a soft reset. Is this normal?

Also, my PC and DS are synched perfectly but I'm getting a time of 23 seconds when, watching my PC clock, it's only taking 14.

@Snus:
1) Most ARs don't retain there codes after a soft reset, so you're going to need to recalibrate doing a cold start(hitting start on the menu of the DS when the clock reaches the next minute).
2) Make sure the date and time are correct. There may be a difference in them, which can cause the seconds to appear off.

Hi So I've been RNG'ing and doing it exactly the way its meant to be done (RNGing for shinies that is) and have done the exacts flips and double taps...
and I still don't get a shiny...
is it because my SID code is wrong or what?

Ok, I keep getting a "No reasonable initial seed found. Please check your DATE and TIME."
Checked my date and time and they are correct. Double and triple-checked them, actually.

Edit: When I don't use my AR, it works at 14 seconds and 630 delay.

I've caught Kyogre several times now (And saved 1 step away from encountering it), leveled it to 100 with rare candies and checked it's IV's with Metalkid IV calculator.

Aftet that I tried searching for 31/x/31/31/31/0 Quiet, but it couldn't find anyone the three times I tried. (Max results: 9999999)

When i press seed to time i got
01:01:2010 20:15:19
So i change the date to this but i dont understand the time what should i do?
Change to 20:14
Start the game and when it become 20:15:19 press 'A' on the guy in the pokemart?

20:15:19 is the time you have to press continue, not talk to the pokemart guy.
Btw, do delays vary from game to game? because i can rng in my plat and my average delay there is 604, is it possible that in my diamond version i can use that same delay?

Yes, Diamond and Pearl have longer load times than Platinum, so you will find the delay is between 615 and 625

Ask that to Rename Card, I bet he can answer you. lol Yeah, the delays change a lot from game to game. Some delays you can hit easily in Platinum are impossible in Diamond and Pearl.

Ok, I'm hoping someone can help me figure this out. I'm trying to breed a shiny pokemon, the ditto is not mine the other pokemon is. Under the shiny breeding tab I have my id and sid number in there, should I receive a shiny from that calculation? I didn't from my first couple tries and I'm not sure if I need to place the ditto's id and sid instead of my own. When I first did this to test it out it worked perfectly fine with two pokemon that were mine and just didn't work when both pokemon had a different id and sid then my own.

It could be an international ditto, I think that might mess it up.

Positive it is not a international ditto, its from my pearl I just transferred it to Platinum.

you input the ID/SID of whatever game your RNGing in

I'm going to try with a mixture of my ID and the Dittos SID cause its not working with my ID and SID alone. I'm positive my SID is correct.

Edit: For future reference that didn't work either.

I'm new to the RNG process and am trying to get a flawless Jirachi using the Wondercard method.

I'm using Diamond; I've done the calibration phase a bunch of times and can consistently hit 14 seconds and a delay between 620 and 630. I even verified my target time and delay using the coin trick once, so I'm pretty sure I know what I'm doing till here.

I've been following the guide in the OP for receiving perfect wondercard Pokemon, and there isn't anything I don't really understand. Clearly I'm doing something wrong though. For practice I've been using the initial seed 3B090283 with a target frame of 5 (the spread is listed in part 5 of the guide), to see if I can hit the corresponding IV spread. So far I haven't been able to though, and I really can't figure out why not. Here's a step-by-step process of everything I'm doing.

1. I input the above initial seed into the "Seed to Time" option on RNG Reporter and press Generate.
2. For convenience I choose the first Date/Time/Delay listed, which in this case is 2010/01/01 ; 09:00:58 ; 633
3. I then set my date to 01/01/2010 and my time to 08:59:00 (synchronized with my PC).
4. At 09:00:44 I SR, and I hit continue at 09:00:58.
5. The Journal pops up immediately (I have no caught Pokemon on the first page). I do the journal flip 2 times to advance to RNG to frame 5 (I have no roaming Pokemon by the way).
6. Once I've flipped the journal twice I press start and immediately talk to the delivery guy before an NPC can move.

I've tried this half a dozen times, even picking a different seed and frame, but I still don't get the spread I'm supposed to. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong please?

Here are a few other related questions that I'll post now so that I don't have to spam this topic with my questions later:

1. For wondercard abuse, I've noticed that for some of the initial seeds I input into the "Seed to Time" menu option, the delay reported is well out of range of the delays I usually get. For example, the seed 0C0E02C2 gives delays close to 700. How is this relevant to hitting that particular spread, and what can I do to get that spread? Would I have to just go through the menus slower when SRing? What about for delays close to 600 which I can't hit even when pressing A as fast as I can?
2. On the journal, do traded Pokemon advance the RNG? This might explain why my method above didn't work, but I saw no mention of this in the guide so I assume that traded Pokemon in the journal are irrelevant.
3. When trying to hit an even frame for RNG abuse, the guide says you should "pause for a sec" between canceling the journal and talking to the delivery guy (to advance the RNG by 1 I suppose). Can anyone be a bit more clear about how long I should pause for, or is this just something I've got to get a feel for once I start SRing?
