Well after a week of advertising on just about every online Pokemon community, the VBR is well known everywhere. So it's got itself a big stage. I also managed to get 32 people so this will be my first ever 32 man tournament. Here are the rules for round one.

1. You must construct a team in RBY with trades mode and challenge your opponent to GSC mode.
2. RBY Pokemon only, GSC Pokemon are NOT allowed.
3. GSC moves like Sweet Scent and Present are NOT allowed.
4. Tradebacks like Thunderpunch Alakazam are NOT allowed.
5. Hold items like Leftovers are NOT allowed.
6. Breedable moves like Flail Squirtle are NOT allowed.
7. Sleep clause
8. Evasion ban. Moves that raise evasion are NOT allowed.
9. Counter ban. Counter is NOT allowed.
10. Mewtwo/Mew ban. Mewtwo/Mew are not allowed.

While checking out his forum for laughs I saw that his signature says this,

Actually the true winner of that tournament is me [ I don't think smogon sucks but I joined the tournament for fun] He made me battle him 3 times, I won every match then he let me be an admin on his "anti-smogon" server for 5 minutes but lets just say I abused my power so I was permbanned.

GGFan actually started around when I did, but I was only on nb, not the gf pokeboards, so I never knew him until he was famous for being an idiot.

And thanks to omni/Carl for remembering when I beat GGFan under all of his stipulations at his own server (where he could, of course, see my team).
