I loved aragornbirds, Dougjustdoug's and Wyverii submissions, but ended up with Wverii, because I had the least gripes with it.
DougJustDoug's is probably the best picture, but I couldn't picture it fitting very well at all with the rest of the pokemon sprites, it looks more like a RMT picture of an avatar. Back Sprite was perfect though.
aragornbird's submission looked a little more fitting with the other sprites, but it didn't have enough bulk of majesty.
Wyverii's sprite I think looks most suitable for in-game, it has bulk and it looks powerful and dragon-like.

So I voted for Wyverii.

DougJustDoug, Wyverii and Aragornbird. These were the ones that really stood out to me when I looked at all the sprites. Actually the thing that sold me on the sprites was often then shiney colors, all of them had a really unique design that looked pretty amazing in the end.

Good job to all the spriters.

close call between DougJustDoug and Wyverii, but i went for DJD's design and would encourage others to do the same because of the more pleasing backsprite. wyverii's just looks a little too chaotic to me. consider the backsprites as well, people!

Am I the only one who finds it odd that in this particular clicky poll, names like cyberzero, CyzirVisheen, and Atlas show up in two or more of the possible candidates?

Is it a registry error? Cyzir and them aren't likely to cheat, so I was just curious as to what the hell is going on with the poll.

Oh and so this post doesn't get dismissed, I voted Wyverii. Just loved the pose.

Threw a vote in Wyverri, DJD, and AB's direction.

I think my only flaw with my sprite this time around was my color choice and outlines, but I still find it to be a splendid sprite. x)

Though it is time for me to be doing more spriting drills, hut hut!

From a technical point of view, Wyverii wins, hands-down, no contest. Love the reference to Atyroki's design in the shiny also.

However, I do like aragornbird's stance a lot better. And it fits the general style when it comes to the cloud also. Although the areas of brightness on that cloud may have been a bit overkill, it does add a nice touch.

Special mention goes to DougJustDoug for his excellent choice of approach on the back-sprite.

My main issue with Wyverii's design is nothing more than the fact that when it comes to spriting cloud-like pokemon, I think of the clouds being more Altaria-esque without the swirls.

Doug's and aragorn's are my two favourites. The rest of them just didn't cut it for me, whether it was the shading, the head positioning or just the shiny colours.

Oh, and on Clawed Nyasu's back sprite, a bit on Darth Vader's back sprite and a bit on KoA's front sprite, the cloud looks more like a rock. Or maybe it's just me.

I get the feeling a lot of people in this thread didn't realize this was a multi click poll since I'm seeing a lot of "it was really close between x and y but x got my vote".

I feel that they have the characteristics of CAP8. I don't have issues on them, but Doug's CAP's back leg is just a little light. If it was darker, I would've only voted for him.

Lots of good sprites, I didn't like the concept art at first but now the sprites make it look much more awesome.

Voted for a handful, namely Doug, but I dislike Aragornbird's. Too cute-looking.

Clawed Nyasu's and aragornbird's look the most like the original art, and are also awesome.
Wyverii's is nice, but its eyebrows are upside-down... it looks really different this way.

Ah, shame I wasn't able to do more work on this but i'm satisfied regardless. I'm hoping for a nice clean poll without any alts this time round and good luck to all.

As for the sprites my own opinion on it is this:

aragornbird: Captures the cute look and is a nice rounded sprite to pick with its pose and clean shading in both front and back. The shiny is minor change in contrast to some of the others.

DougJustDoug: A more realistic approach and the sharpest looking front sprite. The back is the most unusual of all posted. Has the lightest themed shiny of them all.

My own (Wyverii): More defensive looking with a spread footed pose and the back sprite is very sharp in comparison to the others. The only submission with a pink shiny.

The top three are very different in style. Interesting, no? :P

Gah, I didn't know it was a multi-click poll...

I voted for DougJustDoug's sprite. The shiny pallette looks spectacular, and still manages to fit in with the cloud / dragon theme. I love the fangs on the back sprite. That being said, aragornbird's sprite did a great job of looking bulky and kinda cute at the same time. I'm amazed by the effort which has been put into most of these sprites.

Wyverii's caught my eye.

It's simple, stout, and looks like how I think the art would transfer into sprite form. I can't really ask for much more. The other sprites are cool too, Wyverii's is just one I wouldn't mind having as the sprite.

I voted aragornbirds. It's a fantastic sprite, and the shiny looks excellent. Almost as if nintendo would make a shiny sprite of such a Pokemon.
