I never suspected my best friend to smoke weed but I found out the other day that recently she started smoking. That got me thinking that if she smokes, then anyone will smoke. I don't smoke but I'm thinking of starting

is that seriously the logic you use to decide whether or not to use drugs

it's a personal choice with non trivial effects on your health and you're oging to try it because someone you know is? i mean, at least look up what you're taking and see if it's right for you etc

A lot of my friends smoke so its not like im not inexperienced or ignorant with it. Her smoking was more of just like a WOAH factor. Doesn't mean im going to instantly start smoking...I was just thinking of how if she could then a 4 year old could like smoking marijuana too.

anyways does anybody here have any experience with l-dopa? i binge on amphetamines a lot and my basement pharmacology says that it would probably be a good idea to have some around.

Holy shit. I think i almost died last night. I did 600 mg dxm and it was going all smooth and well until I hit third plateau which is when I began having convulsions and was gasping for air. My resting heart rate must've been like 140 bpm, too. I could do nothing but lay in my bed for the whole trip because any amount of physical exertion would jack my heart rate WAY UP. Is this supposed to happen? Thankfully I've come off, and feel ok now. The OEVs were NICE, but wow...that's some scary shit.

what is the easiest way to acquire this kava powder

There's a lot of different ones you can get. All kavas have different kavalactone ratios so the effects aren't always the same. I went to http://kavasseur.blogspot.com/ and read reviews on a bunch of them and decided to get the 100% hawaiian kava from paradisekava.com and its really potent. 3 shells had me feeling better than a xanax bar minus the impaired memory.

lol. just buy like half a pound of root powder to start off with (avoid konakava though they suck, just read the reviews on kavasseur and pick whichever sounds best to you). I usually make kava tea with two tablespoons kava root to 1 cup water. You can experiment around with different ratios if you wish.

1. put the kava in a strainer bag and have a bowl of water ready
2. get it wet and squeeze the HELL out of it
3. repeat step 2 for 5 minutes until the water is dark with a milky consistency. Discard the root powder (alternatively you can mix it in to make a more potent drink, but it's disguisting)

an alternative method is to simply just chew the root powder for about 10 minutes until your mouth feels really numb and swallow it. both ways are effective for me, but the drink is the most popular way of doing it.

its pretty easy. You may not get effects the first time you drink kava because you need to allow time for the kavalactones to build up in your body. Basically a reverse tolerance. Don't get discouraged, I'd say give it at least 4 drinking sessions before you decide if kava is right for you or not. I find its best to drink it on an empty stomach so its more easily absorbed, and it should make you feel very relaxed, calm, and happy if done right. It's pretty much impossible to OD on so drink as much as you need for desired effects (for reference sake a "shell" is 4 oz). It's not as convenient as popping pills but the good thing about kava is that tolerance does not build up and it's not physically addictive.

btw stay away from the kava capsules, extracts, and what not. For whatever reason, they just don't work that well, if at all. Use the real thing.

this break has been pretty good, i've been high (weed) almost every day and most of the ones where i wasn't i was on adderall. my tolerance has gone up a fair amount though which sucks. and like laundry asked im also curious about l-dopa, does anyone have any experience using it?

Take it from an (ex)stim-fiend, you can have all the l-dopa and 5HTP and potassium supplements in the world you want, you're still going to fuck yourself up - and hard - in the long run. I'm the last person in the world to tell you not to binge yourself stupid on stims but for fuck's sake, just look after your mind. You'll lose it eventually.
Why exactly you'd want l-dopa I don't know - you're only risking an overdose of dopamine if you don't dose right, and extra-pyramidal symptoms are not how ANYBODY wants to spend an evening. Not to mention you're also running an added risk of stimulant psychosis. Don't do it.
If you're finding comedowns especially hard buy some valium off the internet and knock yourself out for the duration. It's safer than playing around with your head.


Oh, and to the person who thought they almost died from a DXM overdose: you didn't. But don't do it again anytime soon - fucking with your serotonin that hard generally leads to unpleasantness if you do it too often.

I am. I don't know when I last posted - before my first trip to the psych ward, or the second one - but both times turned a little too heavily to drugs to medicate myself.
Second time my tolerance for everything stim was through the roof - did a gram of MDMA (would have been nice MDMA, too) in pretty much one go, along with a few lines of mediocre coke, then proceeded to drink several bottles of alcohol in an effort to get to sleep.
All failed. Self-injured quite severely in some 'maybe if I lose enough blood I'll pass out then anyway life sucks' - ended up being carried out a few hours later by paramedics. Drugs are bad, mmkay, kids?

you didn't almost die but don't do it again for awhile - dxm is something you generally don't do every weekend

do you take anything else - mixing DXM and ADHD-treatment stimulants for example could lead to BIG heart rate problems and you should never ever ever do it ever don't
