US Arceus at Toys 'R Us/Australian Arceus at EB Games - Both going on now

No wi-fi for this event. Nintendo Power announced that the Arceus will be distributed at TRU from November 7-15 in the US only.

A scan is up at Bulbanews.

Edit: This is available for Diamond, Pearl and Platinum.

It will be the stupid Lv. 100 Farceus, all the events that the US got that happened in Japan will be the same.

I await patiently for the Japanese Lv. 80 version.

Having this Arceus in HG/SS allows you to catch one of the three dragons in DPPt (Dialga, Palkia, Giratina-O). Each comes with their respective orb and a special move and are each at level 1. Dialga gets Metal Burst, Palkia gets Hydro Pump, and Giratina gets Shadow Sneak.

This Arceus serves no special purpose in DPPt other than filling the Pokedex.

Actually, the moves aren't really special. They learn them by level up. You can trade the ones caught in DPP over and they can learn them via heart scale.

When you use Arceus to receive a Giratina from its event, the Giratina will be holding the Griseous Orb, iirc.

Yeah, just to clarify, since the Griseous orb returns to your bag whenever you try trading, you can only legally obtain the Griseous Orb in HGSS by getting the Giratina from the in-game event at Shinto Ruins activated by Arceus.

The Gracidea's obtainable in Goldenrod City when you present the flower lady a Fateful Encounter Shaymin, and the Motors are located in Silph Co.

That's about all the event items that are in Hg/Ss. I can't remember if Hg/Ss allows for event forms to be in battle on Wi-Fi, though...

Yeah, it probably would make the Elite 4 pretty easy. I use my TRU Regi to plow through them all without even having to use any other pokes! XD

So is this going to affect the Ubers ladder at all? AFAIK, the only reason we weren't having Arceus on there was because it could only be obtained illegitimately. Even if all we got was Farceus that could only have 100 EVs in every stat, Arceus still remains the most versatile Pokemon in the game that could easily shake things up.

This doesn't apply to Marshtomp cuz they suck.
