Yes, fair point. The one on its neck is about right, but the other three should be roughly the same size. I'll revisit it. |

Does anyone have any advice on how tall to make the Arbok sprite? Bulbapedia lists its height as 11'6", but I assume that this is its length, not the height of the "torso" as it were. I've had a play around and 117 pixels looks fairly good in comparison to the Ekans sprite (slightly less than double its size) which puts it at 4'8"-ish. Sound good?

![]() My first scratch. I am open to improvement suggestions. Azurill is 0'08" while Uxie is 1'00", so I tried to make Azurill's body as large as Uxie's head. Comparsion: ![]()

Ahhh, I completely forgot about this. I'm on vacation, so you probably won't see anything from me for the next few days, but I have reserved some things, so after I return I should start cranking out some more sprites.
Mari: The colors seem a bit dull compared to the official sprites; generally you should take the colors from them. Also, the whole thing is too blocky. You should round it out more. Also, though this goes along with the previous comment, the part where the body goes into the tail is too flat; it need to be more curved. Overall, it's not bad for a first scratch. However, it is worth mentioning that the sprites don't have to be scratches, in case you didn't know. They can be pixel-overs, though scratches are fine too.

I've finished my Arbok and Snover. Still plugging away.
I agree with Ziposaki about your Azurill, Mari. Borrow the palette for better results. :3 |

There is already a Blaziken on the site, but it's marked as a redo, so I say finish it. :3 That Latios looks really nice, too!
Glad to see I'm not the only one lurking here. xD |

Thanks. If you see anything that needs changed, let me know. I also did Latias, so critique on her would be great as well.

The shading on the 'headpiece' looks off. I would colour the spike to our left with the darker shade as it's behind the other two, then shade the lower right of the other two spikes (light source from the upper left).
Also, the whiskers need to be thicker to show the gender difference ;) |
